Transition quadrupole moments in superdeformed bands
We propose a method to select core and cluster in a binary component description of atomic nuclei. The choice is based on the mismatch between measured binding energies and the underlying trend supplied by the liquid drop model. A key point is that the charge to mass ratios of parent, core, and cluster should be as nearly equal as possible.

We report phosphine‐oxide interlayers for wide‐bandgap perovskite solar cells, in which tuned P = O Lewis basicity enables selective passivation of buried NiOx/perovskite interfaces and introduces interfacial dipoles that strengthen the built‐in field.

Highly water‐soluble dicationic bis(indolium) dyes have been prepared, showing excellent two‐photon absorption and light emission. Their fluorescence behavior discloses an unusual increasing blue shift with increasing solvent polarity, which, in parallel, is beneficial for enhanced detection in biological media.

Ball‐milling Cu‐based metallic glasses with ceria creates a unique nanostructure where metallic glass particles are wrapped by CeO2 nanoparticles. The intimate integration triggers copper state reorganization during reaction and aging, boosting CO oxidation and COPrOx activity.

Polymorph‐Specific Electronic Transduction in WO3 during Molecular Sensing
Metal‐oxide polymorphs with similar surface chemistry can nevertheless exhibit distinct sensing properties. In γ‐ and ε‐WO3, analyte adsorption appears comparable; yet, only ε‐WO3 induces a pronounced lattice electronic perturbation that accommodates charge in sub‐conduction band minimum states.

Investigating nuclear deformation and longitudinal form factors in some fp-shell nuclei using the shell model and Hartree - Fock approximation [PDF]
The current study examined the nuclear deformation of certain Titanium and Chromium isotopes using the shell model and Hartree - Fock approximation within the fp-shell model space.

Single‐Chromophore Homojunction Organic Solar Cells: A Path to Simplicity and Efficiency
This perspective discusses how the intrinsic optoelectronic properties of organic semiconductors, their molecular packing in the solid‐state, and internal energetic gradients within a device can enable free‐charge carrier generation in homojunction organic solar cells.

Low-lying bands with different quadrupole deformation in 155Dy
To investigate the interplay between collective and single particle degrees of freedom in odd nuclei, Recoil distance Doppler-shift and Doppler-shift attenuation lifetime measurements were carried out for levels in 155Dy in coincidence detection of gamma-

Interrelations between the pairing and quadrupole interactions in the microscopic Shell Model
We explore the dynamical symmetries of the shell model number conserving algebra, which define three types of pairing and quadrupole phases, with the aim to obtain the prevailing phase or phase transition for the real nuclear systems in a single shell ...
