Clinical Insights Into Hypercalcemia of Malignancy in Childhood

ABSTRACT Hypercalcemia of malignancy (HCM) is a rare but life‐threatening metabolic emergency in children that occurs in less than 1% of pediatric cancer cases, with a reported incidence ranging from 0.4% to 1.0% across different studies. While it is observed in 10%–20% of adult malignancies, pediatric HCM remains relatively uncommon.

Low‐power readout circuit for quanta image sensors

A low‐power analogue readout circuit for quanta image sensors is reported. A modified charge‐transfer amplifier is used in column‐parallel circuits to reduce the internal readout circuit power 50‐fold compared to the state of the art, and will achieve 2 mW total power dissipation (all columns) when applied to a 1 Mpixel binary image sensor operating at

Sirolimus is an mTOR inhibitor that is effective in low‐flow vascular malformations; however, its role in AVMs is unclear.

ABSTRACT Background Kaposiform lymphangiomatosis (KLA) is an aggressive complex lymphatic anomaly. Patients exhibit malformed lymphatic vessels and often develop hemorrhagic effusions and elevated angiopoietin‐2 (Ang‐2) levels. A somatic NRAS p.Q61R (NRASQ61R) mutation has been associated with KLA.
