A Game Theoretical Model for Anticipating Email Spear-Phishing Strategies [PDF]
A solution to help victims against phishing is anticipating and leveraging impacts related to phisher actions. In this regard, this work reshapes game theoretical logic between Intrusion Detection System (IDS) agents andinsiders to email spear-phishing ...

Stability of mixed-strategy-based iterative logit quantal response dynamics in game theory. [PDF]
Using the Logit quantal response form as the response function in each step, the original definition of static quantal response equilibrium (QRE) is extended into an iterative evolution process.

Endogeneous quantal response equilibrium for normal form games [PDF]
We develop an equilibrium concept coined Endogeneous Quantal Response Equilibrium (EQRE) based on heterogeneous players and endogeneous learning in a logistic quantal choice model. Each player has an asymptotically con- sistent estimate of his rival’s rationality index and is able to choose his own rationality level according to a cost-benefit tradeoff.

The Focal Quantal Response Equilibrium
We propose a generalization of Quantal Response Equilibrium (QRE) built on a simple premise: some actions are more focal than others. In our model, which we call the Focal Quantal Response Equilibrium (Focal QRE), each player plays a stochastic version of Nash equilibrium as in the QRE, but some strategies are focal and thus are chosen relatively more ...

Inverse Matrix Games With Unique Quantal Response Equilibrium
In an inverse game problem, one needs to infer the cost function of the players in a game such that a desired joint strategy is a Nash equilibrium. We study the inverse game problem for a class of multiplayer matrix games, where the cost perceived by each player is corrupted by random noise.

Game Theory in Social Media with Quantal Response Equilibrium
This paper examines the possibility to construct a Game Theory model to describe Social Media with a Quantal Response Equilibrium. It is based on a literature study. The paper is influenced by "A Game-theoretic Model of Attention in Social Networks" written by Goel and Ronaghi but creates a more realistic model by replacing their Nash Equilibrium with ...

Competition between and within groups of workers takes place in labor markets that are segmented along various, often unobservable dimensions. This paper proposes a measure of the intensity of competition in labor markets on the basis of limited data ...

How Moral Codes Evolve in a Trust Game
This paper analyzes the dynamic stability of moral codes in a two population trust game. Guided by a moral code, members of one population, the Trustors, are willing to punish members of the other population, the Trustees, who defect.

In highway on-ramp sections, the conflictual interactions between a subject vehicle (merging vehicle) in the acceleration lane and a following vehicle (lagging vehicle) in the adjacent mainline can lead to traffic congestion, go–stop oscillations, and ...

An Experimental Analysis of Asymmetric Power in Conflict Bargaining
Demands and concessions in a multi-stage bargaining process are shaped by the probabilities that each side will prevail in an impasse. Standard game-theoretic predictions are quite sharp: demands are pushed to the precipice with nothing left on the table,
