The quantitative analysis of dysphonia
Clinical Otolaryngology, 1992A clinical method of measuring 'hoarseness' is presented. Its value is assessed in 3 different types of vocal cord lesion and compared against normal values. There are shown to be significant differences between the normal and the abnormal voice and also differences between each type of vocal cord lesion.

Biometrics, 1983Summary: In quantit analysis of quantal-assay data a third parameter, \(\nu>-1\), is added to the customary location and scale parameters familiar to users of probit and logit analysis. In this paper it is shown that it is not necessary to use nested maximization with regard to \(\nu\) in order to obtain maximum likelihood estimates of parameters.
