Les réseaux d'enseignants – Quels sont les comportements rédactionnels des locuteurs ?

open access: yesALSIC: Apprentissage des Langues et Systèmes d'Information et de Communication, 2012
Over the past decade, teachers have created and animated corporate networks based on technologies of the Web 2.0 outside the strict institutional hierarchy. Yet little studied, many of these online networks are now welcomed with great success. The aim of

An Efficient Rigorous Approach for Identifying Statistically Significant Frequent Itemsets [PDF]

open access: yes, 2009
As advances in technology allow for the collection, storage, and analysis of vast amounts of data, the task of screening and assessing the significance of discovered patterns is becoming a major challenge in data mining applications.

Transferrin receptor 1‐mediated iron uptake supports thermogenic activation in human cervical‐derived adipocytes

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
In this study, we found that human cervical‐derived adipocytes maintain intracellular iron level by regulating the expression of iron transport‐related proteins during adrenergic stimulation. Melanotransferrin is predicted to interact with transferrin receptor 1 based on in silico analysis.

Mining Top-k High Average-Utility Sequential Patterns for Resource Transformation

open access: yesApplied Sciences, 2023
High-utility sequential pattern mining (HUSPM) helps researchers find all subsequences that have high utility in a quantitative sequential database. The HUSPM approach appears to be well suited for resource transformation in DIKWP graphs.

Mining Target-Oriented Fuzzy Correlation Rules to Optimize Telecom Service Management

open access: yes, 2011
To optimize telecom service management, it is necessary that information about telecom services is highly related to the most popular telecom service. To this end, we propose an algorithm for mining target-oriented fuzzy correlation rules. In this paper,

Calpain small subunit homodimerization is robust and calcium‐independent

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Calpains dimerize via penta‐EF‐hand (PEF) domains. Using single‐molecule force spectroscopy, we measured the strength and kinetics of PEF–PEF homodimer binding. The interaction is robust, shows a transient conformational step before dissociation, and remains largely insensitive to Ca2+.

Valosin‐containing protein counteracts ATP‐driven dissolution of FUS condensates through its ATPase activity in vitro

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Biomolecular condensates formed by fused in sarcoma (FUS) are dissolved by high ATP concentrations yet persist in cells. Using a reconstituted system, we demonstrate that valosin‐containing protein (VCP), an AAA+ ATPase, counteracts ATP‐driven dissolution of FUS condensates through its D2 ATPase activity.

“An ethnographic seduction”: how qualitative research and Agent-based models can benefit each other [PDF]

open access: yes, 2010
We provide a general analytical framework for empirically informed agent-based simulations. This methodology provides present-day agent-based models with a sound and proper insight as to the behavior of social agents — an insight that statistical data ...
