ASMs affected the effective connectivity within the seizure network more than in the healthy network. Alterations in functional connectivity were found within the healthy network. ABSTRACT Background Anti‐seizure medications (ASMs) control seizures through distinct neuronal mechanisms. While suppressing seizures, putative spill‐over effects can lead to

Thermalization and Quantum Chaos
Ergodic and chaotic motion in phase space was identified by Boltzmann as the key prerequisite to attain thermal equilibrium in classical many-body systems more than a century ago.

Quantum Chaos & Quantum Computers
The standard generic quantum computer model is studied analytically and numerically and the border for emergence of quantum chaos, induced by imperfections and residual inter-qubit couplings, is determined. This phenomenon appears in an isolated quantum computer without any external decoherence.

Chaos in the holographic matrix models for meson and baryon
In recent years, the investigation of chaos has become a bridge connecting gravity theory and quantum field theory, especially within the framework of gauge-gravity duality.

Inverse Design of Mirror‐Symmetric Disordered Systems for Broadband Perfect Transmission
This work introduces an inverse design approach to achieve broadband perfect wave transmission in mirror‐symmetric disordered media. Leveraging symmetry simplifies optimization and enables control of multiple reflectionless states. Experiments in microwave waveguides confirm the design of exceptional points, bandpass filters, and broadband quasi ...

Chaotic behaviour of photonic crystals resonators
We acknowledge support from the EPSRC (ADF, Fellowships No. EP/I004602/1 and No. EP/J004200/1) and KAUST (AF, Grant No. CRG-1-2012-FRA-005).We show here theoretically and experimentally how chaotic Photonic Crystal resonators can be used for en- ergy ...

From Stability to Chaos: A Complete Classification of the Damped Klein‐Gordon Dynamics
ABSTRACT We investigate the transition between stability and chaos in the damped Klein‐Gordon equation, a fundamental model for wave propagation and energy dissipation. Using semigroup methods and spectral criteria, we derive explicit thresholds that determine when the system exhibits asymptotic stability and when it displays strong chaotic dynamics ...

Chaos in many body quantum systems
A many body quantum system undergoing multiple resonant tunneling in a double barrier heterostructure is studied within a mean field approximation. The resulting nonlinear Schrodinger equation shows genuine chaos with a positive maximum Lyapunov exponent.
