Quantum discord for multiqubit systems [PDF]
We evaluate analytically the quantum discord for a large family of multiqubit states. It is interesting to note that the quantum discord of three-qubits and five-qubits is the same, as is the quantum discord of two-qubits and six-qubits. We discover that the quantum discord of this family states can be concluded into three categories.

Multipartite Generalization of Quantum Discord [PDF]
A generalization of quantum discord to multipartite systems is proposed. A key feature of our formulation is its consistency with the conventional definition of discord in bipartite systems. It is by construction zero only for systems with classically correlated subsystems and is a non-negative quantity, giving a measure of the total non-classical ...

Dynamics of quantum discord and geometric quantum discord in multiqubit interacting system
Chinese Physics BAbstract Using quantum discord (QD) and geometric quantum discord (GQD), quantum correlation dynamics is investigated for two coupled qubits within a multiqubit interacting system in the zero-temperature bosonic reservoir, under both weak and strong qubit-reservoir coupling regimes. The multiqubit system is connected with either a common

Quantum Discord in Quantum Communication Protocols
2017We review an operational interpretation of quantum discord by quantifying it as the difference in the yield of the noisy and noiseless fully quantum Slepian-Wolf (FQSW) protocol and the closely related Mother protocol. The fully quantum Slepian-Wolf protocol is the most general form of unidirectional and bipartite quantum communication protocols and ...

Quantum Discord in Quantum Information Theory
2014The role of quantum discord in the task of remote state preparation was considered by Dakic et al. (Nature Physics 8:666–670, 2012). In this task Alice aims to remotely prepare Bob’s system in the quantum state \(\mathinner {|{\psi }\rangle }=\frac{1}{\sqrt{2}}(\mathinner {|{0}\rangle }+e^{i\phi }\mathinner {|{1}\rangle }).\) To this end Alice and Bob ...
