A Proposed Complete‐Cycle Mechanism for Conversion of N2 to NH3 by Mo‐Nitrogenase
How does the enzyme nitrogenase convert N2 to NH3 under ambient conditions? Here I describe a proposed complete cycle of the chemical mechanism, with computed energy profiles and kinetic barriers for a sequence of 31 reaction steps, encompassing 40 intermediates. How does the enzyme nitrogenase convert N2 to NH3 under ambient conditions?

Quantum discord for multiqubit systems [PDF]
We evaluate analytically the quantum discord for a large family of multiqubit states. It is interesting to note that the quantum discord of three-qubits and five-qubits is the same, as is the quantum discord of two-qubits and six-qubits. We discover that the quantum discord of this family states can be concluded into three categories.

Multipartite Generalization of Quantum Discord [PDF]
A generalization of quantum discord to multipartite systems is proposed. A key feature of our formulation is its consistency with the conventional definition of discord in bipartite systems. It is by construction zero only for systems with classically correlated subsystems and is a non-negative quantity, giving a measure of the total non-classical ...
