Multiplexed Detection of Epigenetic Markers Using Quantum Dot (QD)-Encoded Hydrogel Microparticles
Analytical Chemistry, 2016Epigenetic alterations in gene expression are influenced by experiences and environment, resulting in significant variation of epigenetic markers from individual to individual. Therefore, it is imperative to measure various epigenetic markers simultaneously from samples of individual subjects to accurately analyze the epigenetic markers in biological ...

Nucleic Acid/Quantum Dots (QDs) Hybrid Systems for Optical and Photoelectrochemical Sensing
ACS Applied Materials & Interfaces, 2013Nucleic acid/semiconductor quantum dots (QDs) hybrid systems combine the recognition and catalytic properties of nucleic acids with the unique photophysical features of QDs. These functions of nucleic acid/QDs hybrids are implemented to develop different optical sensing platforms for the detection of DNA, aptamer-substrate complexes, and metal ions ...

Quantum dots (QDs) based fluorescence probe for the sensitive determination of kaempferol
Spectrochimica Acta Part A: Molecular and Biomolecular Spectroscopy, 2014In this work, using the quenching of fluorescence of thioglycollic acid (TGA)-capped CdTe quantum dots (QDs), a novel method for the determination of kaempferol (KAE) has been developed. Under optimum conditions, a linear calibration plot of the quenched fluorescence intensity at 552nm against the concentration of KAE was observed in the range of 4 ...

Quantum Dots (QDs) Based Fluorescent Sensor for the Selective Determination of Nimesulide
Journal of Fluorescence, 2013Fluorescent PET (Photoinduced Electron Transfer) has been of particular growth in recent times. A novel PET based fluorescent sensor using unmodified CdSe quantum dots (QDs) has been developed for the trace determination of Nimesulide (NIM). The sensor is based on the selective fluorescence quenching of quantum dots by NIM in presence of other NSAIDs ...

ECS Solid State Letters, 2012
Nanocomposite layers containing In2O3 quantum dots (QDs) with radii ranging from 1.8 to 5 nm embedded in SiO2 matrix were prepared. Prominent blueshift with a drastic increase in emission efficiency for red, green and blue emissions were observed in the photoluminescence (PL) spectra of samples when QD radius was less than 1.32 nm.

SID Symposium Digest of Technical Papers, 2011
Abstract We provide simple and versatile QD transplanting method, which allows well‐defined QD patterns down to a few micrometers and also provides compatibility with conventional device fabrication process and device architecture. We also demonstrate red, green, and blue QLEDs with transplanted QD active layers and characterize them ...

Quantum Dot Solar Cells with size tuned CdSe QDs exhibiting 1.51V
Materials Today: Proceedings, 2018Abstract Over the past few years quantum dots have gained popularity in various arenas of science and technology, one such being their use as sensitizers in quantum dot solar cells (QDSC). Owing to their larger available surface area, multiple exciton generation capability and size dependent optical properties, the probability of developing superior ...
