A metastable high‐vacancy concentration layered P3‐type Na0.5Cr0.5Ti0.5O2 negative electrode material has been synthesized from its K analogues P3‐type K0.5Cr0.5Ti0.5O2 using a facile room temperature ion‐exchange method. The P3‐type Na0.5Cr0.5Ti0.5O2 demonstrates a gravimetric capacity of 125 mA h g−1 and high‐rate performance (80% charging in 3 min ...

Effective dynamics of quantum fluctuations in field theory: with applications to cosmology
We develop a novel framework for describing quantum fluctuations in field theory, with a focus on cosmological applications. Our method uniquely circumvents the use of operator/Hilbert-space formalism, instead relying on a systematic treatment of ...

ON ‘CATEGORIES’ OF QUANTUM FIELD THEORIES [PDF]
We give a rough description of the 'categories' formed by quantum field theories. A few recent mathematical conjectures derived from quantum field theories, some of which are now proven theorems, will be presented in this language.

Finite-element quantum field theory
An alternative approach to lattice gauge theory has been under development for the past decade. It is based on discretizing the operator Heisenberg equations of motion in such a way as to preserve the canonical commutation relations at each lattice site.

Temperature‐Induced Effects on Wet‐Spun Artificial Spider Silk Fibers
Silk‐based materials are valued for their strength and flexibility, but temperature effects on their mechanical properties are understudied. This study examines the properties of artificial silk fibers from −80 to +120 °C. Results show maintained strength at high temperatures and increased strength at low temperatures. Abstract Silk‐based materials are

Compounding Fields and Their Quantum Equations in the Curved Spaces [PDF]
Based on the concept of curved spacetime in Einsteinian General Relativity, the field theories and their quantum theories in the curved octonion spaces etc are discussed. The research results discover the close relationships of the curved spacetimes with the field theories and quantum theories. In the field theories of curved spacetimes, the curvatures

Consequences of Godel Theorems on Third Quantized Theories Like String Field Theory and Group Field Theory [PDF]
The observation that spacetime and quantum fields on it have to be dynamically produced in any theory of quantum gravity implies that quantum gravity should be defined on the configuration space of fields rather than spacetime. Such a theory is described on the configuration space of fields rather than spacetime, which is a third quantized theory.

This study presents a method to create atomically flat dielectric patterns of SiO2 and AlOx for MoSe2 monolayers, forming lateral heterojunctions with minimal strain. The dielectric pattern modulates excitonic properties, contact potential, and carrier dynamics, demonstrating a tunable approach for enhancing the optoelectronic properties of 2D ...

Quantum field theory with ghost pairs
We explicitly show that general local higher-derivative theories with only complex conjugate ghosts and normal real particles are unitary at any perturbative order in the loop expansion. The proof presented here relies on integrating the loop energies on
