Quantum scars in quantum field theory
We develop the theory of quantum scars for quantum fields. By generalizing the formalisms of Heller and Bogomolny from few-body quantum mechanics to quantum fields, we find that unstable periodic classical solutions of the field equations imprint themselves in a precise manner on bands of energy eigenfunctions.

QUANTUM FIELD THEORY IN GRAPHENE [PDF]
This is a short non-technical introduction to applications of the Quantum Field Theory methods to graphene. We derive the Dirac model from the tight binding model and describe calculations of the polarization operator (conductivity). Later on, we use this quantity to describe the Quantum Hall Effect, light absorption by graphene, the Faraday effect ...

Quantum Algorithms for Quantum Field Theories [PDF]
Quantum Leap? Quantum computers are expected to be able to solve some of the most difficult problems in mathematics and physics. It is not known, however, whether quantum field theories (QFTs) can be simulated efficiently with a quantum computer.

The scope of this review is to give a pedagogical introduction to some new calculations and methods developed by the author in the context of quantum groups and their applications. The review is self-contained and serves as a "first aid kit" before one ventures into the beautiful but bewildering landscape of Woronowicz's theory.

On Quantum Field Theory. I: Quantum Field Theory as Quantum Mechanics [PDF]
Summary: A new approach to finding a steady foundation of quantum field theory is investigated with the help of the so-called nonstandard mathematics. We construct a model of the quantum field theory as a quantum-mechanical system with very many degrees of freedom.

An extremely interesting problem in aero-hydrodynamics is the sound radiation of a single vortical structure. Currently, this type of problem is mainly considered for an incompressible medium. In this paper a method was developed to take into account the

QUATERNIONIC QUANTUM FIELD THEORY [PDF]
Abstract Up to this point our discussion of relativistic quaternionic wave equations has dealt with the first quantized case, in which the wave fields are quaternions in the right-acting algebra spanned by 1, i,j,k, with c-number-valued real components.

PERTURBATIVE QUANTUM FIELD THEORY [PDF]
This talk introduces perturbative quantum field on a heuristic level. It is directed at an audience familiar with elements of quantum mechanics, but not necessarily with high energy physics. It includes a discussion of the strategies behind experimental tests of fundamental theories, and of the field theory interpretations of these tests.
