Light irradiation activates the Fe2O3‐BiVO4 heterostructure, enabling efficient solar‐electrochemical coupling in zinc‐air batteries. The built‐in electric field drives directional charge separation, guiding photoelectrons toward oxygen reduction sites and accumulating holes for oxygen evolution, thereby reducing polarization and enhancing discharge ...

A post‐growth method is demonstrated to realize energy‐tunable quantum emitters in GaAs/GaAsN/GaAs core–multishell nanowires on a Si substrate. By combining the N‐induced bandgap reduction with H‐ion irradiation, the GaAsN potential landscape is engineered, enabling isolated, narrow emission lines that function as single‐photon sources with g(2)(0) ∼ 0.

We demonstrate that halide composition determines phase morphology, governing distinct operating mechanisms in mixed halide perovskites. Phase segregating 75% Br compositions enhance solar cell performance, whereas intrinsically phase‐separated 95% Br compositions provide stable light emitting diodes.

High‐Efficiency Quantum Defect Generation in Carbon Nanotubes via Oxygen‐Free Photochemistry
We show that oxygen plays an important role in quantum defect formation in carbon nanotubes and identify reaction conditions to create a range of different quantum defects for photonics and biosensing. ABSTRACT Single‐walled carbon nanotubes (SWCNTs) offer potential for a wide range of applications from optoelectronic devices to biomedical diagnostics.

Quantum Zeno Engines and Heat Pumps
We study the implementation of quantum engines and quantum heat pumps where the quantum adiabatic transformations are replaced by quantum Zeno strokes. During these strokes, frequent measurements are selectively performed on the external state of the system avoiding transition between different levels.

High-efficiency thermoelectric transport in Aharonov-Bohm-Casher rings
Quantum heat engines are nanoscale devices that convert heat into work by exploiting quantum effects, such as coherence and interference. Previous studies of these devices did not consider spin-dependent effects, which can influence the thermoelectric ...

A graphene‐supported 2D metal–organic network stabilizes highly reactive Fe(I)‐N4 single sites through Co‐induced charge redistribution. Combined experiments and theory reveal Fe(I) formation, oxygen‐driven oxidation, and O2 activation mechanisms, offering a strategy to access low‐valent iron centers relevant to catalytic and biological processes ...

Solvent‐composition‐controlled film formation enables high‐performance (efficiency = 18.66%) and air‐stable terpene‐processed organic solar cells. An optimized eucalyptol/tetralin ratio of 50:50 (v/v) balances molecular solvation and aggregation kinetics, producing favorable nanoscale phase separation and vertical composition gradients.

Quantum heat engines and information
Recently, Zhang {\em et al.} [PRA, {\bf 75}, 062102 (2007)] extended Kieu's interesting work on the quantum Otto engine [PRL, {\bf 93}, 140403 (2004)] by considering as working substance a bipartite quantum system $AB$ composed of subsystems $A$ and $B$.
