Quantum-inspired computational imaging [PDF]

open access: yesScience, 2018
Computational imaging combines measurement and computational methods with the aim of forming images even when the measurement conditions are weak, few in number, or highly indirect.

Towards Quantum 3D Imaging Devices [PDF]

open access: yesApplied Sciences, 2021
We review the advancement of the research toward the design and implementation of quantum plenoptic cameras, radically novel 3D imaging devices that exploit both momentum–position entanglement and photon–number correlations to provide the typical ...

Quantum-secured imaging [PDF]

open access: yesApplied Physics Letters, 2012
We have built an imaging system that uses a photon's position or time-of-flight information to image an object, while using the photon's polarization for security.

Quantum image matching [PDF]

open access: yesQuantum Information Processing, 2016
Quantum image processing (QIP) means the quantum based methods to speed up image processing algorithms. Many quantum image processing schemes claim that their efficiency are theoretically higher than their corresponding classical schemes. However, most of them do not consider the problem of measurement. As we all know, measurement will lead to collapse.

3D Quantum Ghost Imaging

open access: yesApplied Optics, 2023
We present current results of a novel type of setup for quantum ghost imaging based on asynchronous single-photon timing using SPAD detectors, first presented in [1]. The scheme enables photon pairing without fixed delays and thus overcomes some limitations of the widely used heralded setups for quantum ghost imaging [2].

Quantum image distillation [PDF]

open access: yesScience Advances, 2019
Images composed of both quantum and classical light can be distilled so as to separate the quantum from the classical information.

Frequency Limits of Sequential Readout for Sensing AC Magnetic Fields Using Nitrogen-Vacancy Centers in Diamond

open access: yesSensors, 2023
The nitrogen-vacancy (NV) centers in diamond have the ability to sense alternating-current (AC) magnetic fields with high spatial resolution. However, the frequency range of AC sensing protocols based on dynamical decoupling (DD) sequences has not been ...

Imaging extra-striatal dopamine D2 receptors in a maternal immune activation rat model

open access: yesBrain, Behavior, & Immunity - Health, 2022
Maternal immune activation (MIA) is a risk factor for schizophrenia in the offspring. MIA in pregnant rodents can be induced by injection of synthetic polyriboinosinic-polyribocytidilic acid (Poly I:C), which causes decreased striatal dopamine D2 ...
