Multiplexed quantum repeaters based on single-photon interference with mild stabilization

open access: yesCommunications Physics
Quantum repeaters are pivotal in the physical layer of the quantum internet, and quantum repeaters capable of efficient entanglement distribution are necessary for its development.

Pinch resonances in a radio-frequency-driven superconducting-quantum-interference-device ring-resonator system [PDF]

open access: yes, 2001
In this paper we present experimental data on the frequency domain response of a superconducting-quantum-interference-device ring (a Josephson weak link enclosed by a thick superconducting ring) coupled to a radio frequency tank circuit resonator.

Thermal‐Driven Diode Polarity Switching From Competing Helical Superconducting States in WTe2/α‐Fe2O3 Heterostructures

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
A Nb‐proximitized Josephson junction based on a WTe2/α‐Fe2O3 heterostructure exhibits a robust superconducting diode effect with programmable polarity. The diode direction can be trained by magnetic fields and switched by temperature cycling, revealing tunable finite‐momentum pairing states and competing superconducting states in symmetry‐broken ...

Quantum Interference of Spontaneous Emission and Coherent Population Trapping for a Quantum Emitter Embedded Within a Two-Dimensional Photonic Crystal

open access: yesPhotonics
We investigate the phenomenon of quantum interference in spontaneous emission pathways for a quantum emitter embedded in a two-dimensional photonic crystal composed of a square lattice of dielectric cylindrical rods.

Transparent Perovskite Light‐Emitting Diodes with Conductive Oxide Top Electrodes

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Transparent perovskite light‐emitting diodes (TrPeLEDs) enable simultaneous display and transparency, expanding application possibilities. Using a metal oxide buffer layer and pulsed laser deposition, TrPeLEDs with diverse compositions and architectures are demonstrated.

When Poor Exciton Dissociation Limits Photocurrents in Organic Solar Cells: Why Low Offset Non‐Fullerene Acceptor Blends Can't Be Efficient

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
The energetic offset between the donor and the acceptor components in organic photoactive layers is central to the tradeoff between photovoltage and photocurrent losses. This Perspective covers the most important issues surrounding this topic in non‐fullerene acceptor blends, from the difficulty of accurately determining state energies and driving ...

Interference in transport through double barriers in interacting quantum wires

open access: yes, 2010
We investigate interference effects of the backscattering current through a double-barrier structure in an interacting quantum wire attached to noninteracting leads.

Current Correlations in a Quantum Dot Ring: A Role of Quantum Interference

open access: yes, 2019
We present studies of the electron transport and circular currents induced by the bias voltage and the magnetic flux threading a ring of three quantum dots coupled with two electrodes.
