Aggregating Quantum Networks [PDF]
The implementation of quantum error-correction codes needs high efficiency transmission channels and significant physical resources. Here we show that aggregating quantum networks alleviate those issues when applied to the quantum Reed-Salomon code.

This paper initiates the study of quantum computing within the constraints of using a polylogarithmic ($O(\log^k n), k\geq 1$) number of qubits and a polylogarithmic number of computation steps. The current research in the literature has focussed on using a polynomial number of qubits. A new mathematical model of computation called \emph{Quantum Neural

Active Magnetic-Field Stabilization with Atomic Magnetometer
A magnetically-quiet environment is important for detecting faint magnetic-field signals or nonmagnetic spin-dependent interactions. Passive magnetic shielding using layers of large magnetic-permeability materials is widely used to reduce the magnetic ...

Enhancing photon generation rate with broadband room-temperature quantum memory
Photons with high generation rate is one of the essential resources for quantum communication, quantum computing and quantum metrology. Due to the naturally memory-built-in feature, the memory-based photon source is a promising route towards large-scale ...

Scattering-Assisted Computational Imaging
Imaging objects hidden behind an opaque shelter provides a crucial advantage when physically going around the obstacle is impossible or dangerous. Previous methods have demonstrated that is possible to reconstruct the image of a target hidden from view ...

Reconstructing Quantum States With Quantum Reservoir Networks [PDF]
Reconstructing quantum states is an important task for various emerging quantum technologies. The process of reconstructing the density matrix of a quantum state is known as quantum state tomography. Conventionally, tomography of arbitrary quantum states is challenging as the paradigm of efficient protocols has remained in applying specific techniques ...

Polariton dynamics in one-dimensional arrays of atoms coupled to waveguides
Photons strongly coupled to material systems constitute a novel system for realizing non-linear optics at the level of individual photons and studying the dynamics of non-equilibrium quantum many-body system.

We propose a compact 4He magnetometer realizing magnetic field measurement and laser-frequency stabilization simultaneously in a single 4He atomic cell. The frequency stabilization scheme is based on the asymmetric line shape of magnetic resonance which ...
