Gravitationally modulated quantum correlations: Discriminating classical and quantum models of ultra-compact objects with Bell nonlocality

open access: yesPhysics Letters B
We investigate the relation between quantum nonlocality and gravity at the astrophysical scale, both in the classical and quantum regimes. Considering a gedanken experiment involving particle pairs orbiting in the strong gravitational field of ultra ...

Speeding up the spread of quantum information in chaotic systems

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2021
We explore the effect of introducing mild nonlocality into otherwise local, chaotic quantum systems, on the rate of information spreading and associated rates of entanglement generation and operator growth.

Time-invariant entanglement and sudden death of nonlocality for multipartite systems under collective dephasing

open access: yes, 2017
We investigate the dynamics of entanglement and nonlocality for multipartite quantum systems under collective dephasing. Using an exact and computable measure for genuine entanglement, we demonstrate the possibility of a non trivial phenomenon of time ...

General method for constructing local-hidden-variable models for entangled quantum states [PDF]

open access: yes, 2016
Entanglement allows for the nonlocality of quantum theory, which is the resource behind device-independent quantum information protocols. However, not all entangled quantum states display nonlocality, and a central question is to determine the precise ...

Accelerating Luminescence in Nanostructures: Exploring the Physical Limits and Impact of Ultrafast Emission in Nanoscale Materials

open access: yesAdvanced Photonics Research, EarlyView.
This review highlights recent advances in accelerating luminescence in nanostructures through cooperative emission, resonator coupling, and nonlocal light–matter interactions. By unifying concepts such as excitonic superradiance, superfluorescence, and the plasmonic Purcell effect, it reveals physical limits of ultrafast emission and their potential ...

Dynamics of Nonlocality for A Two-Mode Squeezed State in Thermal Environment [PDF]

open access: yes, 2000
We investigate the time evolution of nonlocality for a two-mode squeezed state in the thermal environment. The initial two-mode pure squeezed state is nonlocal with a stronger nonlocality for a larger degree of squeezing.

Enhanced Trapping with an Optimized Graphene‐Based Bowtie Plasmonic Nanotweezer: Design, Analysis, and Bioanalytical Applications

open access: yesAdvanced Photonics Research, EarlyView.
A graphene‐based bowtie plasmonic nanotweezer is designed and optimized using particle swarm optimization and transfer matrix analysis. The structure achieves strong field confinement, delivering trapping forces up to 6 nN W−1 for 10 nm bioparticles with sixfold lower power requirements than conventional designs.

Genuine four-partite Bell nonlocality in the curved spacetime

open access: yesEuropean Physical Journal C: Particles and Fields
The quantum Bell nonlocality plays a crucial role in quantum information processing. In this paper, we first obtain the quantitative analytical expression of the genuine four-partite Bell nonlocality of any 4-qubit quantum state. Then, we investigate and

Operational Significance of the Quantum Resource Theory of Buscemi Nonlocality

open access: yesPRX Quantum, 2021
Although entanglement is necessary for observing nonlocality in a Bell experiment, there are entangled states that can never be used to demonstrate nonlocal correlations. In a seminal paper Buscemi [Phys. Rev. Lett.
