Universality and robustness of revivals in the transverse field XY model

open access: yes, 2012
We study the structure of the revivals in an integrable quantum many-body system, the transverse field XY spin chain, after a quantum quench. The time evolutions of the Loschmidt echo, the magnetization, and the single spin entanglement entropy are ...

Partial quantum revivals of localized condensates in distorted lattices [PDF]

open access: yesOptics Letters, 2020
We report on a peculiar propagation of bosons loaded by a short Laguerre–Gaussian pulse in a nearly flat band of a lattice potential. Taking a system of exciton polaritons in a kagome lattice as an example, we show that an initially localized condensate propagates in a specific direction in space, if anisotropy is taken into account.

A Dithio Vinylthio C2 Synthon Enabling Crystalline and Luminescent Sulfur‐Decorated Polymers

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie International Edition, EarlyView.
Transforming CaC2 into a modular C2 building block enables the synthesis of α,ω‐bis(vinylthio) monomer and its conversion into crystalline, sequence‐defined sulfur‐decorated polymers. Their dense thioether clustering induces nonconventional luminescence and provides structure–function control in a more‐sustainable polymer platform.

Coherencia y entrelazamiento en dinámica no Markoviana de qubits [PDF]

open access: yesUniversitas Scientiarum, 2013
We provide a thorough analysis of the entanglement dynamics of an interacting two-qubit systemin the non-Markovian regime. In such a regime, the time scale on which the reservoir degrees offreedom evolve is either of the same order of magnitude or less ...

Signatures of the collapse and revival of a spin Schr\"{o}dinger cat state in a continuously monitored field mode

open access: yes, 2013
We study the effects of continuous measurement of the field mode during the collapse and revival of spin Schr\"{o}dinger cat states in the Tavis-Cummings model of N qubits (two-level quantum systems) coupled to a field mode.

Intrinsic decoherence effects on nonclassical correlations in a symmetric spin–orbit model

open access: yesResults in Physics, 2022
Nonclassical correlations dynamics of local quantum Fisher information, trace-norm measurement-induced nonlocality, and log-negativity are investigated in a symmetric spin–orbit model.

Wave packet revivals in a graphene quantum dot in a perpendicular magnetic field

open access: yes, 2010
We study the time-evolution of localized wavepackets in graphene quantum dots under a perpendicular magnetic field, focusing on the quasiclassical and revival periodicities, for different values of the magnetic field intensities in a theoretical ...

Revivals of Quantum Wave Packets

open access: yes, 1997
We present a generic treatment of wave-packet revivals for quantum-mechanical systems. This treatment permits a classification of certain ideal revival types. For example, wave packets for a particle in a one-dimensional box are shown to exhibit perfect revivals.

Experimental Quantum-Walk Revival with a Time-Dependent Coin [PDF]

open access: yesPhysical Review Letters, 2015
We demonstrate a quantum walk with time-dependent coin bias. With this technique we realize an experimental single-photon one-dimensional quantum walk with a linearly-ramped time-dependent coin flip operation and thereby demonstrate two periodic revivals of the walker distribution.
