Quantum Steering and Spacelike Separation [PDF]

open access: yesPhysical Review Letters, 2012
In non-relativistic quantum mechanics, measurements performed by separate observers are modeled via tensor products. In Algebraic Quantum Field Theory, though, local observables corresponding to space-like separated parties are just required to commute.

Spin Quantum Heat Engine Quantified by Quantum Steering [PDF]

open access: yesPhysical Review Letters, 2022
Following the rising interest in quantum information science, the extension of a heat engine to the quantum regime by exploring microscopic quantum systems has seen a boom of interest in the last decade. Although quantum coherence in the quantum system of the working medium has been investigated to play a nontrivial role, a complete understanding of ...

The generation of genuine quadripartite Einstein–Podolsky–Rosen steering in an optical superlattice

open access: yesScientific Reports, 2023
Einstein–Podolsky–Rosen (EPR) steering is a quantum effect based on quantum entanglement and it is the key resource for building quantum networks because of its useful properties.

Distillation of Gaussian Einstein-Podolsky-Rosen steering with noiseless linear amplification

open access: yesnpj Quantum Information, 2022
Einstein–Podolsky–Rosen (EPR) steering is one of the most intriguing features of quantum mechanics and an important resource for quantum communication. For practical applications, it remains a challenge to protect EPR steering from decoherence due to its

Quantum coherence of steered states [PDF]

open access: yesScientific Reports, 2016
AbstractLying at the heart of quantum mechanics, coherence has recently been studied as a key resource in quantum information theory. Quantum steering, a fundamental notion originally considered by Schödinger, has also recently received much attention. When Alice and Bob share a correlated quantum system, Alice can perform a local measurement to ‘steer’

Einstein-Podolsky-Rosen steering in critical systems [PDF]

open access: yes, 2022
We explore Einstein-Podolsky-Rosen steering, measured by steering robustness, in the ground states of several typical models that exhibit a quantum phase transition.

Certification and applications of quantum nonlocal correlations

open access: yesJPhys Photonics, 2023
Entanglement and Einstein–Podolsky–Rosen (EPR) steering are nonlocal quantum correlations, which are relevant resources for quantum information protocols. EPR steering, or quantum steering, refers to the correlation where a party might ‘steer’, or modify,

Measurement-Based Control of Quantum Entanglement and Steering in a Distant Magnomechanical System

open access: yes, 2023
In this paper, we propose a scheme for measurement-based control of hybrid Einstein–Podolsky–Rosen (EPR) entanglement and steering between distant macroscopic mechanical oscillator and yttrium iron garnet (YIG) sphere in a system of an ...

Unbounded Violation of Quantum Steering Inequalities [PDF]

open access: yesPhysical Review Letters, 2015
We construct steering inequalities which exhibit unbounded violation. The concept was to exploit the relationship between steering violation and uncertainty relation. To this end we apply mutually unbiased bases and anti-commuting observables, known to exibit the strongest uncertainty. In both cases, we are able to procure unbounded violations.

Gaussian quantum steering under the influence of a dilaton black hole

open access: yesEuropean Physical Journal C: Particles and Fields, 2021
We study the dynamics of Gaussian quantum steering in the background of a Garfinkle–Horowitz–Strominger dilaton black hole. It is found that the gravity induced by dilaton field will destroy the quantum steerability between the inertial observer Alice ...
