Controlled Aggregation of Pyrene‐Based Supramolecular Nanostructures for Light‐Driven Switchable H2 or H2O2 Production

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This work reports the self‐assembly of a pyrene derivative into two distinct nanostructures and their application in visible‐light photocatalysis. The two nanostructures exhibit completely different yet complementary photocatalytic activities, promoting either H2 or H2O2 evolution.

On the reconstruction map in JT gravity

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics
An open question in AdS/CFT is how to reconstruct semiclassical bulk operators precisely enough that non-perturbative quantum effects can be computed.

On Quantum Field Theory. I: Quantum Field Theory as Quantum Mechanics [PDF]

open access: yesProgress of Theoretical Physics, 1974
Summary: A new approach to finding a steady foundation of quantum field theory is investigated with the help of the so-called nonstandard mathematics. We construct a model of the quantum field theory as a quantum-mechanical system with very many degrees of freedom.

Z‐Scheme Water Splitting Systems Based on Solid‐State Electron Conductors

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This review examines the latest advances in Z‐scheme overall water splitting (OWS) systems for solar hydrogen production. These systems consist of suspended or immobilized hydrogen evolution photocatalysts (HEPs) and oxygen evolution photocatalysts (OEPs).

Effective metric description of 2+1 dimensional quantum black holes

open access: yesEuropean Physical Journal C: Particles and Fields
We develop an effective metric description of 2+1 dimensional black holes describing deviations from the classical Ban̈ados–Teitelboim–Zanelli (BTZ) black hole.

Bimetallic Nanoparticles as Cocatalysts for Photocatalytic Hydrogen Production

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Recent developments have introduced bimetallic nanoparticles as effective cocatalysts for photocatalytic systems. This review explores the rapidly expanding research on bimetallic cocatalysts for photocatalytic production of hydrogen, emphasizing the creation of carrier‐selective contacts, localized surface plasmon resonance effects, methodologies for ...

The Quantum Theory of the Emission and Absorption of Radiation

open access: yes, 1927
The new quantum theory, based on the assumption that the dynamical variables do not obey the commutative law of multiplication, has by now been developed sufficiently to form a fairly complete theory of dynamics.

Quantum Game Theory

open access: yes, 2011
Quantum game theory is the study of strategic behavior by agents with access to quantum technology. Broadly speaking, this technology can be employed in either of two ways: As part of a randomization device or as part of a communications protocol. We survey some of the main ideas from both branches of the subject.

Ladder‐Type Benzene‐Perylene Dyes with Efficient Laser Properties in the Near‐IR by Detracting/Activating Low/High Frequency Vibronic Modes

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
The NNR‐n series of oligomeric nanographenes delivers exceptional emission performance. This work shows that this performance is originated by their ladder‐type structure, which effectively deactivates low‐frequency vibronic modes. This deactivation neglects the main pathway for non‐emissive deactivation, even in the near‐infrared region. The potential
