Yoctosecond metrology through HBT correlations from a quark-gluon plasma
Expansion dynamics at the yoctosecond timescale affect the evolution of the quark gluon plasma (QGP) created in heavy ion collisions. We show how these dynamics are accessible through Hanbury Brown and Twiss (HBT) intensity interferometry of direct photons emitted from the interior of the QGP.

Longitudinal–transverse double-spin asymmetries in single-inclusive leptoproduction of hadrons
We analyze the longitudinal–transverse double-spin asymmetry in lepton–nucleon collisions where a single hadron is detected in the final state, i.e., ℓ→N↑→hX.

Abstract We argue that the mean transverse momentum of particles produced in very high energy nucleus-nucleus collisions or in very high multiplicity p p collisions may be directly related to the energy per unit entropy of the hot matter originally formed.

Flow and correlation phenomena measurements in pp, pPb and PbPb collisions at CMS
The quark-gluon plasma created in high energy collisions of large nuclei exhibits strong anisotropic collective behavior as a nearly perfect fluid, flowing with little frictional resistance or viscosity. It has been investigated extensively over the past

The physics behind ML-based quark-gluon taggers
Jet taggers provide an ideal testbed for applying explainability techniques to powerful ML tools. For theoretically and experimentally challenging quark-gluon tagging, we first identify the leading latent features that correlate strongly with physics ...

Collider phenomenology of the 4D composite Higgs model
This thesis is devoted to the phenomenological analysis at the large hadron collider (LHC), as well at a future electron positron collider, of the 4 dimensional (4D) composite Higgs model (4DCHM), a compelling beyond the standard model scenario where the

Particle Production in pA Collisions at Mid-Rapidity in the Color Glass Condensate
Particle correlations in small collisions systems, like proton–nucleus, lie at the core of the discussion about whether quark–gluon plasma is produced in small systems.
