Quarkonium correlators at finite temperature and potential models [PDF]

open access: yes, 2007
We discuss the calculations of quarkonium spectral functions in potential models and their implications for the interpretation of the lattice data on quarkonium correlators. In particular, we find that melting of different quarkonium states does not lead

Double Charmonium Productions in Electron‐Positron Annihilation Using Bethe‐Salpeter Approach

open access: yesAdvances in High Energy Physics, Volume 2019, Issue 1, 2019., 2019
We calculate the double charmonium production cross‐section within the framework of 4 × 4 Bethe‐Salpeter Equation in the electron‐positron annihilation, at center of mass energy s=10.6GeV, that proceeds through the exchange of a single virtual photon.

Dissociation of Quarkonium in Hot and Dense Media in an Anisotropic Plasma in the Nonrelativistic Quark Model

open access: yesAdvances in High Energy Physics, Volume 2019, Issue 1, 2019., 2019
In this paper, quarkonium dissociation is investigated in an anisotropic plasma in the hot and dense media. For that purpose, the multidimensional Schrödinger equation is solved analytically by Nikiforov‐Uvarov (NU) method for the real part of the potential in an anisotropic medium. The binding energy and dissociation temperature are calculated.

QCD Factorization for heavy quarkonium production at collider energies [PDF]

open access: yes, 2006
In this talk, I briefly review several models of the heavy quarkonium production at collider energies, and discuss the status of QCD factorization for these production models.Comment: 7 pages, 12 figures, Talk presented at the Conference on Quark ...

Multiplicity Dependence of Quarkonium Production

open access: yesUniverse
Recent measurements on heavy-flavour production as a function of charged-particle multiplicity at the LHC are discussed. Focus is given to quarkonium results in small (pp or pPb) collision systems.

QCD factorization for hadronic quarkonium production at high $p_T$

open access: yesSciPost Physics Proceedings, 2022
Heavy quarkonium production at high transverse momentum ($p_T$) in hadronic collisions is explored in the QCD factorization approach. We find that the leading power in the $1/p_T$ expansion is responsible for high $p_T$ regime, while the next-to-leading

The Quarkonium Analysis of the QGP [PDF]

open access: yesEPJ Web of Conferences, 2014
Quarkonium production has been considered as a tool to study the medium formed in high energy nuclear collisions, assuming that the formation of a hot and dense environment modifies the production pattern observed in elementary collisions. The basic features measured there are the relative fractions of hidden to open heavy flavor and the relative ...

Heavy quarkonia in a potential model: binding energy, decay width, and survival probability

open access: yesEuropean Physical Journal C: Particles and Fields, 2018
Recently a lot of progress has been made in deriving the heavy quark potential within a QCD medium. In this article we have considered heavy quarkonium in a hot quark gluon plasma phase.

Transverse Momentum Dependent Factorization for Quarkonium Production at Low Transverse Momentum

open access: yes, 2013
Quarkonium production in hadron collisions at low transverse momentum $q_\perp \ll M$ with $M$ as the quarkonium mass can be used for probing transverse momentum dependent (TMD) gluon distributions.

QUARKONIUM PRODUCTION IN HADRONIC COLLISIONS [PDF]

open access: yesInternational Journal of Modern Physics A, 1995
We summarize the theoretical description of charmonium and bottonium production in hadronic collisions and compare it to the available data from hadron-nucleon interactions. With the parameters of the theory established by these data, we obtain predictions for quarkonium production at RHIC and LHC energies.
