Boosting perturbative QCD stability in quarkonium production

open access: yes, 2019
The aim of this paper is to introduce a general way to stabilize the perturbative QCD computations of heavy quarkonium production in the boosted or high-momentum transferring region with tree-level generators only.

Inclusive double-quarkonium production at the Large Hadron Collider

open access: yes, 2011
Based on the nonrelativistic QCD (NRQCD) factorization formalism, we investigate inclusive productions of two spin-triplet S-wave quarkonia pp->2J/psi+X, 2Upsilon+X, and J/psi+Upsilon+X at the CERN Large Hadron Collider.

NRQCD: Fundamentals and Applications to Quarkonium Decay and Production

open access: yes, 2005
I discuss NRQCD and, in particular, the NRQCD factorization formalism for quarkonium production and decay. I also summarize the current status of the comparison between the predictions of NRQCD factorization and experimental measurements.Comment: 8 pages,

Quarkonium Level Spacings

open access: yesPhysics Letters B, 1977
Motivated by the apparent equal spacing M (ϒ′) - M (ϒ) = M ψi) - M (ψ), we show that the potential for which quarkonium level spacings are independent of quark mass, in the nonrelativistic limit, is V ( r ) = C In ( r / r 0 ). We enumerate consequences of the logarithmic potential and present an alternative interpretation of the data.

Polarized Heavy Quarkonium Production in the Color Evaporation Model

open access: yes, 2017
We explore polarized heavy quarkonium production using the color evaporation model at leading order. We present the polarized to total yield ratio as a function of center of mass energy and rapidity in $p+p$ collisions.

Heavy Quarkonium Hybrids [PDF]

open access: yesNuclear and Particle Physics Proceedings, 2018
We report on a recent investigation on heavy quarkonium hybrids that goes beyond the usual Born-Oppenheimer approximation by including not only the mixing between nearby hybrid states but also the mixing with quarkonium states. We use a systematic effective field theory framework based on NRQCD together with lattice QCD inputs.

NRQCD Factorization and Quarkonium Production at Hadron-Hadron and ep Colliders

open access: yes, 2010
I review the NRQCD factorization approach for quarkonium production and compare its predictions with measurements in hadron-hadron and ep collisions.Comment: 6 pages, contribution to the proceedings of Charm 2010, IHEP, Beijing, October 21-24 ...
