Magmatic and Metamorphic Fluids in Pegmatite Development: Evidence from Borujerd Complex, Iran [PDF]
The Borujerd complex of western Iran is composed of intrusions and their surrounding contact aureole, with, pegmatites and quartz veins. Pegmatites differ in mineralogy, origin and age, and two groups can be distinguished. The Older Pegmatites (about 120

ZONATION OF FORM AND COMPOSITION OF PYRITE CRYSTALS OF THE BEREZOVSKY GOLD DEPOSIT (URALS) [PDF]
Morphology, zonation and composition of pyrite crystals from quartz veins, beresites and listvenites of the Berezovsky gold deposit are examined. During the crystallization, the pyrite forms changed following a relatively simple scheme {111} → {111}+{100}

Molecular toxicology studies on the quartz hazard. [PDF]
Silicon makes up almost 28% of the Earth's crust and within that crust, quartz (crystalline silica) is one of the most abundant minerals. Exposure to quartz can occurin a number of occupations, including the mining and construction industries in which ...

The AlpIce‐1 database is the first compilation of published geomorphological and geochronological markers constraining build‐up, culmination and decay of glaciers from the Last Glacial Maximum through the Holocene across the entire European Alps. AlpIce‐1 integrates more than 4200 surface‐exposure and radiocarbon ages, homogenized, quality controlled ...

Abstract Boron and lithium have been observed in Ca‐sulfate veins of Gale crater. These elements are highly water mobile and can inform us regarding the aqueous processes that may have taken place in Gale crater. However, the analysis of B in Gale crater is limited to low‐Fe rocks and minerals due to spectral interference of Fe with B in ChemCam data ...
