A high-throughput framework and database for twisted 2D van der Waals bilayers
Twisted two-dimensional van der Waals heterostructures provide a fertile ground for tailoring electronic and structural properties. However, their vast configurational space poses challenges for systematic study. Here, we introduce SAMBA, an open-source,

HETEROGENEITY IN THE DEGREE OF QUASI-GEOMETRIC DISCOUNTING: THE DISTRIBUTIONAL IMPLICATIONS [PDF]
This paper modifies the standard one-sector growth model with uninsurable idiosyncratic risk and liquidity constraints to include multiple types of quasi-geometric consumers. For a calibrated version of the model, we show that a modest difference between

Logical and Philosophical Remarks on Quasi-Set Theory [PDF]
Quasi-set theory is a theory for dealing with collections of indistinguishable objects. In this paper we discuss some logical and philosophical questions involved with such a theory.

The merger of vertically offset quasi-geostrophic vortices
We examine the critical merging distance between two equal-volume, equal-potential-vorticity quasi-geostrophic vortices. We focus on how this distance depends on the vertical offset between the two vortices, each having a unit mean height-to-width aspect

Zinc Sulfide Enabling Remarkable Surface Passivation of Crystalline Silicon
Polycrystalline ZnS films capped by Al2O3 provide outstanding surface passivation performance. The excellent lattice agreement between c‐Si and ZnS combined with a hydrogenation step result in extremely low interface state density (≈ 1×1010 cm−2 eV−1) and recombination current pre‐factor (1.0 fA/cm2), revealing a new passivation strategy for ...

This work presents an Os/FeP heterostructure catalyst with EMSI and successfully utilizes the BEF to further modulate electron transfer through Os‐P‐Fe channels, proving an effective approach of developing low‐cost electrocatalysts with remarkable HER activity in ampere‐level seawater electrolysis. ABSTRACT Developing cost‐effective and robust hydrogen

Chinese Trade Competition and Rural Mexican Migration
ABSTRACT China's accession to the World Trade Organization in 2001 reshaped global trade, reducing U.S. demand for Mexican manufactured goods and weakening Mexico's manufacturing employment. This study estimates how this trade‐induced decline affected migration and employment decisions among rural Mexicans.
