Benchmarking Data‐Driven Control of Octopus‐Inspired Soft Arms in Underwater Environment

Underwater soft robots present safe, compliant interaction, yet reproducible control remains scarce. This work presents an open benchmark for octopus‐inspired arms: a smooth, velocity‐diverse data‐collection scheme produces a compact dataset to train a vanilla policy.

Development of an Inchworm‐Like Dual‐Balloon‐Assisted Colonoscopic Robot Based on a Two‐Segment Extensible Continuum Section

This work presents an inchworm‐like dual‐balloon‐assisted colonoscopic robot (IDCR) based on a rod‐driven two‐segment continuum section. The IDCR enables the active straightening of the sigmoid colon through an inchworm‐like locomotion strategy, thereby avoiding loop formation.

ABSTRACT Plastochromanol‐8 (PC‐8) is a homologue of γ‐tocotrienol with a longer side chain (eight instead of three isoprene units) and therefore also a representative of the tocochromanol (vitamin E) group. PC‐8 has been determined in various plants and seeds, with Cecropia sp. leaves showing unusually high levels.
