This plot compares experimental tensile stress–strain curves (with 4 different strain rates) and corresponding modelled curves (obtained using the optimised sets of Voce and Miller–Norton parameter values shown). The inferred M‐N values, characterizing the creep, are very similar to those obtained via conventional creep testing.

Coarse‐grained (left) and atomistic (right) models of the shape memory polymer ESTANE ETE 75DT3 are shown schematically. The two representations bridge molecular detail and mesoscopic description. Both models capture shape memory behavior, linking segmental mobility and conformational relaxation of anisotropic chains to macroscopic recovery, and ...

Families of quasi-pseudo-metrics generated by probabilistic quasi-pseudo-metric spaces [PDF]
This paper contains a study of families of quasi-pseudo-metrics (the concept of a quasi-pseudo-metric was introduced by Wilson, Albert and Kelly) generated by probabilistic quasi-pseudo-metric-spaces which are generalization of probabilistic metric ...

Fixed point theorems in dislocated quasi-metric spaces
In this paper, we discuss the existence and uniqueness of a fixed point in a dislocated quasi-metric space. Several fixed point theorems for distinct type of contractive conditions are presented that generalize, extend, and unify a number of related ...

Convexities in T0-quasi-metric spaces.
ThesisIn this thesis, we recall three types of convexities in metric spaces, namely; Menger convexity, Takahashi convexity andM-convexity. We then generalise these convexities to the framework of T0-quasi-metric spaces. Since the concept of convexities

Composite Ti–6Al–4V–epoxy lattice structures are additively manufactured and epoxy infiltrated for cyclic loading. At low lattice volume fractions, hybridization produces synergistic gains in stiffness and energy dissipation. At higher volume fractions, synergy diminishes, although composites still exceed metallic lattices in specific energy ...

Influence of Geometric Design on Mechanical Performance of Auxetic Metastructure
Strategic geometric reinforcement transforms auxetic performance. This study evaluates 3D‐printed arrowhead metastructures, revealing that a modified design with local ring reinforcement suppresses premature failure to achieve superior energy absorption and structural efficiency.

Weak Quasi-Contact Metric Manifolds and New Characteristics of K-Contact and Sasakian Manifolds
Quasi-contact metric manifolds (introduced by Y. Tashiro and then studied by several authors) are a natural extension of contact metric manifolds. Weak almost-contact metric manifolds, i.e., where the linear complex structure on the contact distribution ...
