Fast Nodal Hessian Computation for Peridynamic Fracture Simulation
A fast, exact nodal Hessian computation for Non‐Ordinary State‐Based Peridynamics is introduced through analytical simplification and a warp‐centric GPU strategy. The method accelerates preconditioned solvers and Vertex Block Descent, enabling interactive fracture simulation with physical accuracy.

Abstract This study evaluated (1) the load‐bearing capacity of molars restored with direct occlusal veneers fabricated either from short‐fiber‐reinforced composite (SFRC) or particulate‐filled composite (PFC) and the presence of internal voids within the materials, and (2) effect of water storage on the fracture load and correlation between internal ...

Black Fugitivity in the Sporting Workplace: The Story of Eniola Aluko
ABSTRACT Being a Black fugitive involves constant movement: to find and cultivate spaces of safety and hope. In this paper, I curate a sporting archive about the UK Black women's elite football player Eniola Aluko to read her as a Black fugitive. I demonstrate how she traversed a racist and anti‐Black sporting workplace—where she was unfairly demonized

Damped Inexact Quasi-Newton Methods
The inexact quasi-Newton methods are very attractive methods for large scale optimization since they require only an approximate solution of the linear system of equations for each iteration.

Pit lakes in semiarid and arid regions are often assumed to be terminal sinks for groundwater following mine closure. Using synthetic numerical modeling, we demonstrate that evaporation‐driven density gradients can reverse this behavior, transforming pit lakes into throughflow systems and potentially increasing salinity in adjacent aquifers.

Discharge‐Targeted Hydraulic Tomography to Quantify and Locate Aquifer Discharge
Abstract Quantifying and localizing groundwater discharge is inherently difficult. It requires knowledge about hydraulic conductivity and the hydraulic gradient on the scale of interest. Conventional hydraulic testing, such as pumping tests, may fail in the presence of heterogeneity and complex structural boundaries.
