Multiservice Loss Models in Single or Multi-Cluster C-RAN Supporting Quasi-Random Traffic
In this paper, a cloud radio access network (C-RAN) is considered where the baseband units form a pool of computational resource units and are separated from the remote radio heads (RRHs).

Quasi‐random hypergraphs [PDF]
AbstractWe introduce an equivalence class of varied properties for hypergraphs. Any hypergraph possessing any one of these properties must of necessity possess them all. Since almost all random hypergraphs share these properties, we term these properties quasi‐random.

We introduce a large equivalence class of graph properties, all of which are shared by so-called random graphs. Unlike random graphs, however, it is often relatively easy to verify that a particular family of graphs possesses some property in this class.

Performance Evaluation of Two-Link Multirate Loss Models with Restricted Accessibility
We consider a two-link communication system with restricted accessibility that services Poisson arriving calls of many service-classes and propose a multirate teletraffic loss model for its analysis.

MENENTUKAN HARGA OPSI DENGAN METODE MONTE CARLO BERSYARAT MENGGUNAKAN BARISAN KUASI ACAK FAURE
An option contract is a contract that gives the owner the right to sell or even to buy an asset at the predetermined price and period time. The conditional Monte Carlo is one of the several methods that is used to determine the option price which in the ...

Performance Evaluation of the Threshold Call Admission Policy in Multi-rate Loss Systems
In this paper we consider a link, characterized by specific capacity, that services multi-rate random or quasirandom traffic. Random traffic is generated by an infinite number of traffic sources, while quasi-random traffic is generated by a finite population of ...

PRICING OF CALL OPTIONS USING THE QUASI MONTE CARLO METHOD
A call option is a type of option that grants the option holder the right to buy an asset at a specified price within a specified period of time. Determining the option price period of time within a certain period of time is the most important part of ...

Performance evaluation of a mobile hotspot supporting quasi‐random traffic
The authors study and evaluate a mobility‐aware call admission control algorithm in a mobile hotspot. More specifically, a vehicle which has an access point of a fixed capacity and may alternate between stop and moving phases is considered.

Quasi-Exponentiated Normal Distributions: Mixture Representations and Asymmetrization
In the paper, quasi-exponentiated normal distributions are introduced for any real power (exponent) no less than two. With natural exponents, the quasi-exponentiated normal distributions coincide with the distributions of the corresponding powers of ...
