Monotone cellular automata in a random environment
In this paper we study in complete generality the family of two-state, deterministic, monotone, local, homogeneous cellular automata in $\mathbb{Z}^d$ with random initial configurations.

Quasi-stability and global attractor in nonlinear thermoelastic diffusion plate with memory
We analyse the longterm properties of a $C_0-$semigroup describing the solutions to a nonlinear thermoelastic diffusion plate, recently derived by Aouadi [1], where the heat and diffusion flux depends on the past history of the temperature and the chemical potential gradients through memory kernels.

In the present study, metastable CrMnNi steels with varying chemical compositions and a concomitantly altered stacking fault energy are processed via directed energy deposition and afterwards tested via tensile tests at different temperatures. The present study shows the influence of the manufacturing process on the elemental deformation mechanisms for

This paper presents a novel frequency-domain approach to reveal the exact range of the imaginary spectra and the stability of linear time-invariant systems with two delays. First, an exact relation, i.e., the Rekasius substitution, is used to replace the

Pullback attractors via quasi-stability for non-autonomous lattice dynamical systems
<p style='text-indent:20px;'>In this paper we study long-time behavior of first-order non-autono-mous lattice dynamical systems in square summable space of double-sided sequences using the cooperation between the discretized diffusion operator and the discretized reaction term.

Rotary friction welding of steel E355 and the aluminum alloy EN AW‐6082 can lead to the formation of brittle intermetallic phases. The primary process parameters are varied in order to determine their influence on this intermetallic phase formation and the resulting mechanical properties.

Background Cranial cruciate ligament (CCL) disease is one of the most common causes of lameness in dogs. The extracapsular stabilization (ECS) utilizing bone anchors and monofilament nylon leader was an alternative treatment for CCL-deficient (CCLD) dogs.

Signals of composite electroweak-neutral Dark Matter: LHC/Direct Detection interplay
In a strong-coupling picture of ElectroWeak Symmetry Breaking, a composite electroweak-neutral state in the TeV mass range, carrying a global (quasi-)conserved charge, makes a plausible Dark Matter (DM) candidate, with the ongoing direct DM searches ...

Ti‐6Al‐4V samples produced by laser‐powder bed fusion are tested for static and dynamic mechanical properties to systematically evaluate the effects of surface roughness and internal porosity when using productivity parameters. The most detrimental impact to fatigue is caused by surface roughness, lack of fusion and keyhole porosity in descending order.
