Switched-capacitor current-fed quasi-Z-source inverter
Focus of this study is on a new switched-capacitor current-fed (CF) quasi-Z-source inverter (qZSI) topology, which is derived from the conventional CF qZSI. Each capacitor of the quasi-Z-source network is replaced by a switching-capacitor cell built with two capacitors and three diodes.

Quasi-Z-Source Inverter for Photovoltaic Power Generation Systems [PDF]
This paper presents a quasi-Z-source inverter (qZSI) that is a new topology derived from the traditional Z-source inverter (ZSI). The qZSI inherits all the advantages of the ZSI, which can realize buck/boost, inversion and power conditioning in a single stage with improved reliability.

A transparent, laser‐microscribed glass platform enables cancer diagnosis within 1 h—much faster than histology, which takes days, and free from the chemical or contrast risks of MRI or CT scans. The antibody‐functionalized rough glass surface captures viable cancer cells directly from suspension, allowing instant optical readout and offering a rapid ...

Sliding Mode Control for Three-Phase Quasi-Z-Source Inverter
In this paper, a novel multiobjective control strategy for the three-phase quasi Z-source inverter (q-ZSI) is proposed. A sliding mode control (SMC)-based controller is proposed to regulate inductor current through shoot-through ratio, and DC-link ...

High Entropy Wide‐Bandgap Borates with Broadband Luminescence and Large Nonlinear Optical properties
High‐entropy rare‐earth borates exhibit excellent nonlinear optical and broadband luminescence properties arising from multi‐component doping, chemical disorder, increased configurational entropy, and increased lattice and electronic anharmonicity. This formulation enabled us to obtain a large, environmentally stable single crystal with 3X higher laser‐

Cascadable Enhanced Quasi‐Z‐Source Inverter with Reduced Current Stress
In magnetically coupled impedance source (MCIS) inverters, the turn ratio of the coupled inductor offers design flexibility. The leakage inductance, however, poses additional challenges, mainly voltage spikes.

Cooperative Dynamics of an Artificial Stochastic Resonant System
We have investigated cooperative dynamics of an artificial stochastic resonant system, which is a recurrent ring connection of neuron-like signal transducers (NST) based on stochastic resonance (SR), using electronic circuit experiments.

Ultrathin AlOxHy interlayers between aluminum films and polymer substrates significantly improve electro‐mechanical properties of flexible thin film systems. By precisely controlling interlayer thickness using atomic layer deposition, this study identifies an optimal interlayer thickness of 5–10 nm that enhances ductility and delays cracking.

AgCrP2S6 reveals a momentum‐indirect band edge (≈1.35 eV) and chain‐locked linear dichroism: the first direct transitions emerge at 1.6–1.8 eV for E||a. Resonant Raman and photoemission corroborate this assignment. In ACPS/graphene heterostructures, photocurrent turns on above ≈1.5 eV and follows the same polarization selection rules (anisotropy ≈0.53),
