Dual-Source Bidirectional Quasi-Z-Source Inverter Development for Off-Road Electric Vehicles
In this paper, a battery pack and a supercapacitor bank hybrid energy storage system (HESS) with a new control configuration is proposed for electric vehicles (EVs). A bidirectional quasi-Z-source inverter (Bq-ZSI) and a bidirectional DC-DC converter are

Quasi‐Z based adaptive sliding mode control for three‐phase photovoltaic grid‐connected system
Considering the non‐linear characteristics of both the input and output of photovoltaic (PV) modules and quasi‐Z‐source inverters, as well as the unpredictable natural factors such as large disturbances caused by changes in illumination and temperature ...

Ferroelectric nanoclusters create local internal fields in a normally non‐switchable polar film because of polarization mismatch at their interfaces. That field opposes polarization in the regions with larger polarization and reinforces polarization in the regions with smaller polarization.

CCM and DCM analysis of quasi-z-source inverter [PDF]
This paper presents an analysis of a quasi-Z-source inverter (qZSI) operating in continuous conduction mode (CCM) and discontinuous conduction mode (DCM). The boundary between CCM and DCM is discovered and technique to avoid qZSI being operated in DCM is also discovered.

Catalytically Enhanced Near Room‐Temperature Hydrogen Sensing Using Pd‐ZnO Colloidal Crystals
Pd‐decorated ZnO colloidal crystal monolayers demonstrate excellent performance across a wide hydrogen concentration range at 33°C, with high selectivity and reproducible device fabrication. The sensors show strong responses even at low‐ppm H2 concentrations and an ultra‐low detection limit of 82 ppb, indicating their suitability for diverse hydrogen ...

Low‐frequency noise spectroscopy defines the resolvable conductance states of synaptic FeFETs by coupling read‐current fluctuation with usable dynamic range. The resulting noise‐limited bit precision establishes a universal, device‐agnostic reliability metric beyond the memory window, enabling quantitative benchmarking and rational design of high ...

Maximum Boost Control Method for Single-Phase Quasi-Switched-Boost and Quasi-Z-Source Inverters
The maximum boost control method for a single-phase switched-boost inverter (SBI) and single-phase Z-source inverter (ZSI) is proposed in this paper. In the proposed method, the low frequency voltage is added to the constant voltage for generating the ...
