Three Phase Trans-Quasi-Z-Source Inverter

open access: yesCPSS Transactions on Power Electronics and Applications, 2018
In this paper, a new type of single-stage boost Transquasi- Z-source inverter topology is presented. The basic structure and working principle of the inverter are analyzed and its voltage gain is deduced. The model of the Trans-quasi-Z-source network is established by using Laplace transform.

Determination of Stray Inductance of Low-Inductive Laminated Planar Multiport Busbars Using Vector Synthesis Method [PDF]

open access: yes, 2020
Laminated busbars connect capacitors with switching power modules, and they are designed to have low stray inductance to minimize electromagnetic interference. Attempts to accurately measure the stray inductance of these busbars have not been successful.

Impedance-compensated grid synchronisation for extending the stability range of weak grids with voltage source converters [PDF]

open access: yes, 2016
This paper demonstrates how the range of stable power transfer in weak grids with voltage source converters (VSCs) can be extended by modifying the grid synchronisation mechanism of a conventional synchronous reference frame phase locked loop (PLL).

Quasi Z‐source inverter with switched‐capacitor‐inductor for enhancing boost factor

open access: yesIET Power Electronics, 2021
Two structures are proposed based on the quasi Z‐source inverter (qZSI), which can significantly raise the output voltage in applications, including photovoltaic and fuel cells, in which the input voltage is low.

New Multicell Switched-Inductor Quasi-Z-Source Inverter

open access: yesElectronics, 2023
To address the problems of quasi-Z-source inverters with limited boosting ability and high voltage stress, a novel class of multicell switched-inductor quasi-Z-source inverters is proposed. The new inverter is based on the quasi-Z-source inverter in which the inductors in the impedance source network are replaced by a multicell switched-inductors.

Large-signal stability conditions for semi-quasi-Z-source inverters: switched and averaged models

open access: yes, 2013
The recently introduced semi-quasi-Z-source in- verter can be interpreted as a DC-DC converter whose input- output voltage gain may take any value between minus infinity and 1 depending on the applied duty cycle. In order to generate a sinusoidal voltage

A Dual Gate Spin Field Effect Transistor With Very Low Switching Voltage and Large ON-to-OFF Conductance Ratio [PDF]

open access: yes, 2007
We propose and analyze a novel dual-gate Spin Field Effect Transistor (SpinFET) with half-metallic ferromagnetic source and drain contacts. The transistor has two gate pads that can be biased independently.

THD Reduction of Inverters in Photovoltaic Power Systems

open access: yesMìkrosistemi, Elektronìka ta Akustika, 2020
Photovoltaic power systems are quite common in modern consumer power systems. Alongside with the power sources, converters for photovoltaic energy systems made their own evolution path that was defined by two main requirements that have to be fulfilled ...

Analysis and modeling of the Quasi-Z-Source-Inverter

open access: yesIECON 2011 - 37th Annual Conference of the IEEE Industrial Electronics Society, 2011
This paper presents a dynamic average model of the Quasi-Z-Source Inverter (QZSI), based on the short term average values over one PWM-period, and the analysis of the possible switching states that can occur in the QZSI. The model is considerably descriptive since the modeling has been performed by analyzing the physical and functional relations with ...
