Quasilinear systems with linearizable characteristic webs [PDF]
We classify quasilinear systems in Riemann invariants whose characteristic webs are linearizable on every solution. Although the linearizability of an individual web is a rather nontrivial differential constraint, the requirement of linearizability of ...

Let X={X1,…,Xm} $X=\{X_{1} ,\ldots ,X_{m} \}$ be a system of smooth real vector fields satisfying Hörmander’s rank condition. We consider the interior regularity of weak solutions to an obstacle problem associated with the nonhomogeneous nondiagonal ...

On quasilinear parabolic systems
We prove local existence results for second order quasilinear parabolic systems with nonlinear boundary conditions in the class \[ C^{1+\alpha}([t_ 0,\tau],[L^ p(\Omega)]^ N)\cap C^{\alpha}([t_ 0,\tau],[W^{2,p}(\Omega)]^ N), \] where \(\alpha\) \(\in]0,[\), \(p>n\). Further space regularity properties are also shown.

Dynamics of electron beams in the solar corona plasma with density fluctuations [PDF]
The problem of beam propagation in a plasma with small scale and low intensity inhomogeneities is investigated. It is shown that the electron beam propagates in a plasma as a beam-plasma structure and is a source of Langmuir waves.

Well-posed initial-boundary value problem for the harmonic Einstein equations using energy estimates [PDF]
In recent work, we used pseudo-differential theory to establish conditions that the initial-boundary value problem for second order systems of wave equations be strongly well-posed in a generalized sense. The applications included the harmonic version of

Regularity and uniqueness in quasilinear parabolic systems [PDF]
Inspired by a problem in steel metallurgy, we prove the existence, regularity, uniqueness, and continuous data dependence of solutions to a coupled parabolic system in a smooth bounded 3D domain, with nonlinear and nonhomogeneous boundary conditions. The nonlinear coupling takes place in the diffusion coefficient.

Holder Solvability of Quasi-Linear Parabolic Systems in the Divergent Form
In this article, we consider a quasilinear parabolic system under fair general conditions with form-boundary conditions on the singular coefficients. We establish the requirements on the structural coefficients of the parabolic system under which the ...
