Lipschitz quasistability of impulsive systems of differential equations

International Journal of Theoretical Physics, 1991
The authors introduce the notion of uniform Lipschitz quasistability of an arbitrary solution of an impulsive system of differential equations with unfixed moments of impulse effect and provide sufficient conditions for uniform Lipschitz quasistability.

Are there quasistable hadrons containing superheavy quarks?

Physical Review D, 1977
Flavor-changing neutral currents are reconsidered allowing the possibility that superheavy quarks, with masses comparable to the weak-boson mass, exist in nature. It is argued that the natural conservation of these weak neutral currents cannot be imposed to order ..cap alpha..G/sub F/ in this case.

Bakamjian–Thomas construction for quasistable states

Journal of Physics A: Mathematical and Theoretical, 2008
As is evident from the multiple values listed in the particle data table for the mass and width of resonances, such as Z°, Δ and ρ, defining these resonance parameters uniquely and unambiguously remains an open problem. This problem is ultimately rooted in the absence of a state vector description of a resonance that has definite properties under ...

Velocity distribution for quasistable acceleration in the presence of multiplicative noise

Physical Review E, 2013
Processes that are far both from equilibrium and from phase transition are studied. It is shown that a process with mean velocity that exhibits power-law growth in time can be analyzed using the Langevin equation with multiplicative noise. The solution to the corresponding Fokker-Planck equation is derived.
