Numerical Analysis of Temperature Deformation Characteristics for Super‐High Arch Dams considering Solar Radiation Effects

open access: yesStructural Control and Health Monitoring, Volume 2023, Issue 1, 2023., 2023
Considering that the effect of solar radiation on the super‐high arch dam temperature field remains poorly studied, the calculation accuracy of dam temperature deformation is unable to be guaranteed accordingly. To address the issue, the solar radiation effect is adequately taken into consideration by proposing a practical calculation method based on ...

Role of A‐Site Composition in Charge Transport in Lead Iodide Perovskites

open access: yesAdvanced Energy and Sustainability Research, Volume 3, Issue 11, November 2022., 2022
The electronic properties of metal halide perovskites are measured with time‐resolved microwave conductivity, as a function of A‐site composition. It is found that a small percentage of Cs leads to a larger carrier mobility and lifetime and that compositions with a tolerance factor close to 0.9 generally show lower performance than those closer to 0.8 ...

Мера устойчивости многокритериальной задачи целочисленного линейного программирования с параметрическим принципом оптимальности [PDF]

open access: yes, 2022
In this paper, we consider a multicriteria integer linear programming problem with a parametric principle of optimality. Parameterization is realized by dividing the set of criteria into several disjoint groups (subsets) of criteria ordered by importance,

Dynamical Characterization of the Loop Current Attractor

open access: yesGeophysical Research Letters, Volume 48, Issue 24, 28 December 2021., 2021
Abstract The Gulf of Mexico circulation is modulated by a mesoscale current, the Loop Current (LC), and large anticyclonic eddies that detach from it. The LC dynamics are recurrent, and its evolution is in and from a few preferential states. This observation points to the existence of a low‐dimensional dynamical attractor. Building upon advancements in

Global Venus‐Solar Wind Coupling and Oxygen Ion Escape

open access: yesGeophysical Research Letters, Volume 48, Issue 3, 16 February 2021., 2021
Abstract The present‐day Venusian atmosphere is dry, yet, in its earlier history a significant amount of water evidently existed. One important water loss process comes from the energy and momentum transfer from the solar wind to the atmospheric particles.

Emergence of Warm Inflation in Curved Space‐Time between Accelerating Branes

open access: yesAdvances in High Energy Physics, Volume 2020, Issue 1, 2020., 2020
It appears that having our own brane to somehow interact with other branes could give rise to quite an interesting system and that interaction could lead to some observable effects. We consider the question of whether or not these signatures of interaction between the branes can be observed. To answer this question, we investigate the effect induced by

Modeling of the Tail Slap for an Underwater Projectile within Supercavitation

open access: yesMathematical Problems in Engineering, Volume 2019, Issue 1, 2019., 2019
Detailed process of the tail slap for an underwater projectile in supercavitation is studied in this paper. Firstly, the horizontal equation of motion for the projectile and a dynamic model of the projectile’s tail slap are introduced through a mathematical derivation, including a simple harmonic motion model of the projectile within the ...

Statistical azimuthal structuring of the substorm onset arc: Implications for the onset mechanism

open access: yesGeophysical Research Letters, Volume 44, Issue 5, Page 2078-2087, 16 March 2017., 2017
Abstract The onset of an auroral substorm is generally thought to occur on a quiet, homogeneous auroral arc. We present a statistical study of independently selected substorm onset arcs and find that over 90% of the arcs studied have resolvable characteristic spatial scales in the form of auroral beads.
