Discussion on the “Luanxian-Leting fault”

open access: yes地震科学进展, 2020
“Luanxian-Leting fault”is an inferred fault. Recent petroleum geophysical data reveals that the “Luanxian-Leting fault”does not exist in the east of Changli fault.

From ab initio quantum mechanics to molecular neurobiology: A cation-pi binding site in the nicotinic receptor [PDF]

open access: yes, 1998
The nicotinic acetylcholine receptor is the prototype ligand-gated ion channel. A number of aromatic amino acids have been identified as contributing to the agonist binding site, suggesting that cation-pi interactions may be involved in binding the ...

Theta Products and Eta Quotients of Level $24$ and Weight $2$

open access: yes, 2016
We find bases for the spaces $M_2\Big(\Gamma_0(24),\Big(\frac{d}{\cdot}\Big)\Big)$ ($d=1,8,12, 24$) of modular forms. We determine the Fourier coefficients of all $35$ theta products $\varphi[a_1,a_2,a_3,a_4](z)$ in these spaces.

Enhanced analysis of gating latency in 0.35T MR‐linac through innovative time synchronization of a motion phantom and plastic scintillation detector

open access: yesJournal of Applied Clinical Medical Physics, EarlyView.
Abstract Purpose This study aims to evaluate how different gantry angles, breathing rates (BPM), cine image speeds, and tracking algorithms affect beam on/off latency and the subsequent impact on target dose for a 0.35T MR‐Linac with a 6 MV FFF beam.

Quaternary and Pre-Quaternary Crustal Movements

open access: yesThe Quaternary Research (Daiyonki-Kenkyu), 1968
The problem discussed in this paper is whether the crustal movements in the Japanese Islands changed in nature or rate during the transition from the Tertiary to the Quaternary periods. The Late Tertiary sedimentary basins gradually migrated under the control of the orogenic movements which had begun in the Early Miocene.

Quaternary Cu2ZnSnSe4 thin films for solar cells applications [PDF]

open access: yes, 2009
Polycrystalline thin films of Cu2ZnSnSe4 (CZTSe) were produced by selenisation of Cu(Zn,Sn) magnetron sputtered metallic precursors for solar cell applications.

The burden of burnout: Understanding its prevalence and organizational drivers in medical physics

open access: yesJournal of Applied Clinical Medical Physics, EarlyView.
Abstract Background Burnout is a work‐related syndrome characterized by increased levels of emotional exhaustion (EE) and depersonalization (DP) along with decreased levels of personal achievement. In the healthcare setting, higher burnout levels have been associated with negative impacts on personnel, an increased risk of errors, and a decrease in the

Integrated Stratigraphy of the Marine Early Pleistocene in Umbria

open access: yesGeosciences, 2020
Through time, the wide area between southeastern Tuscany, northeastern Latium, and western Umbria has been revealed as a crucial area for understanding the evolution of Neogene basins in northern Apennine.

Towards better understanding of factors contributing to medical physicist well‐being in academic medical centers: A systems‐analysis approach

open access: yesJournal of Applied Clinical Medical Physics, EarlyView.
Abstract The well‐being of medical physicists can impact overall system performance, patient safety, and quality of patient care. There are limited formal assessments of factors contributing to physicists well‐being. Nine medical physicists at a US academic medical center were surveyed on 21 workplace factors, drawn from the National Academy of ...
