Potentiation of acetylcholinesterase by a series of quaternary ammonium compounds
Abstract Eleven spiran, and two non-spiran, quaternary ammonium compounds have been examined and some of these compounds found to potentiate the hydrolysis of acetylcholine by acetylcholinesterase at high substrate concentrations. The experiments were made in three reaction media, each differing in its ionic composition.

Roll‐pressing lithium foil in contact with ionic liquids is used to produce modified lithium anodes. The differences in performance, composition, and evolution upon cycling of the anodes depending on the ionic liquid used are highlighted, when used in combination with a classical Li‐ion electrolyte.

Excellent mobility is achieved in intrinsically stretchable, fine‐patterned organic thin‐film transistors (OTFTs) through well‐aligned molecular arrangements. Abstract Intrinsically stretchable organic transistors are promising solutions for realizing stretchable electronic systems, such as skin‐like wearables and next‐generation displays. Nevertheless,

This study explores the potential of locally harvested Phallusia mammillata, a tunicate usually discarded as waste from mussles farming as a viable source for producing various high‐grade cellulose derivatives in the form of nanofibrils (NFC) and nanocrystals (CNC). Abstract Ascidians are ubiquitous filter‐feeding marine invertebrates, the only animals
