Nickel‐Doped h‐MoO3 Cathodes: A High‐Performance Material for Aluminum‐Ion Batteries
Nickel‐doped hexagonal molybdenum trioxide (h‐MoO₃) shows a promising improvement in the capacity and stability of aluminum‐ion batteries. This work utilizes a simple precipitation method to incorporate nickel into h‐MoO₃, combined with a urea‐based electrolyte, achieving higher discharge capacities and extended cycling stability.

A study of crystallographic complexes obtained from vanadium haloperoxidase enzymes can determine key amino acids, leucine, and phenylalanine, that change their structural orientation to allow either chloride or bromide to bind to the enzymes active site, thereby determining halide specificity.
