Some characterizations of quaternionic space forms
The authors prove that any of the following two properties characterize quaternionic space forms in the class of quaternionic Kähler manifolds \(M\): 1) \(R(X,JX)X\) is proportional to \(JX\) for all tangent vectors \(X\in T_pM\) to \(M\) and all complex structures \(J\) on \(T_pM\) subordinate to the quaternionic structure.

Slant submanifolds of quaternionic space forms [PDF]
In this paper we establish some inequalities concerning the $k$-Ricci curvature of a slant submanifold in a quaternionic space form. We also obtain obstructions to the existence of quaternionic slant immersions in quaternionic space forms with unfull first normal bundle.

Curvature-adapted real hypersurfaces in quaternionic space forms [PDF]
In this paper the authors study curvature-adapted real hypersurfaces in quaternionic space forms. A hypersurface of a Riemannian manifold is called curvature-adapted if the normal Jacobi operator of the manifold commutes with the shape operator of the hypersurface.

Circles on quaternionic space forms
A curve \(\gamma\) in a Riemannian manifold \(M\) is called a circle if it is parametrized by arc length and satisfies \(\nabla_XX=\kappa Y\) and \(\nabla_YY=-\kappa X\) for some constant \(\kappa>0\) and some unit vector field \(Y\) along \(\gamma\), where \(\nabla\) is the Levi-Civita connection of \(M\) and \(X\) is the unit tangent vector field of \

Submanifolds of quaternion projective space with bounded second fundamental form [PDF]
Let M be a smooth compact Riemannian manifold isometrically immersed in the quaternion projective space \(HP^ n(1)\). Let h denote the second fundamental form of M in \(HP^ n(1)\). For each unit vector u tangent to M, set \(\delta (u)=\| h(u,u)\|^ 2.\) In this article the authors determine all compact complex submanifolds of \(HP^ n(1)\) satisfying ...

Free semigroups of large critical exponent
Abstract For a convergence group equipped with an expanding coarse‐cocycle, we construct finitely generated free subsemigroups, which we call Bishop−−Jonessemigroups$\textit{Bishop--Jones semigroups}$, of critical exponent arbitrarily close to but strictly less than the critical exponent of the ambient group.
