Dual Proximal Groups Concisely Representing Complex Hosoya Triangles

open access: yesAdvances in Mathematical Physics, Volume 2026, Issue 1, 2026.
This paper introduces dual proximal groups (DPGs) that provide concise representation of complex Hosoya triangles (CHTs). An application is given in terms of the DPG representation of collections of Hosoya‐Hilbert circular triangles on modulated motion waveforms in sequences of video frames. Shape Operators and Structure Tensors of Real Hypersurfaces in Nonflat Quaternionic Space Forms [PDF]

open access: yesBulletin of the Polish Academy of Sciences Mathematics, 2004
The concept of curvature-adapted hypersurfaces in a Riemannian manifold has been introduced by \textit{J. B. Berndt} in [J. Reine Angew. Math. 419, 9--26 (1991; Zbl 0718.53017)]. The authors obtain characterizations of curvature-adapted real hypersurfaces of a non flat quaternionic space form. Then they state characterizations of classes of homogeneous

On Efficient Iterative Algorithms and Conditioning for the Nonlinear Sylvester Equation

open access: yesComputational and Mathematical Methods, Volume 2026, Issue 1, 2026.
Nonlinear Sylvester‐type matrix equations arise in applications such as control theory, observer design, model reduction, and data‐driven systems, where they model higher order interactions in matrix transformations. Unlike the classical Sylvester equation, the presence of nonlinear terms introduces additional analytical challenges and increased ...

Split Quaternionic Representations of Horadam Sequences and Their Binet, Generating Function, and Cassini‐Type Identities

open access: yesJournal of Mathematics, Volume 2026, Issue 1, 2026.
This study establishes a novel algebraic connection between Horadam numbers and the split quaternion algebra. To this end, two fundamental constructs are introduced: the Fibonacci Sq,r‐split quaternions and the Horadam sq,r‐split quaternions, which generalize Horadam numbers within the framework of split quaternions.

Quadratic Forms and Space-Time Block Codes From Generalized Quaternion and Biquaternion Algebras [PDF]

open access: yesIEEE Transactions on Information Theory, 2011
In the context of space-time block codes (STBCs), the theory of generalized quaternion and biquaternion algebras (i.e., tensor products of two quaternion algebras) over arbitrary base fields is presented, as well as quadratic form theoretic criteria to check if such algebras are division algebras.

A Dynamical Systems Approach to Generalized Cayley Inclusion Problem and Convergence Rate Comparison of Iterative Algorithms

open access: yesJournal of Mathematics, Volume 2026, Issue 1, 2026.
This paper studies a generalized Cayley inclusion problem governed by a K·,·‐co‐monotone mapping in a real Hilbert space. We show that the proposed inclusion problem can be equivalently reformulated as a fixed‐point problem. Exploiting this equivalence, an inertial extrapolation algorithm is developed to compute solutions of the generalized Cayley ...

A Superalgebra Within: Representations of Lightest Standard Model Particles Form a Z25$\mathbb {Z}_2^5$‐Graded Algebra

open access: yesAnnalen der Physik, Volume 537, Issue 12, December 2025.
A set of particle representations, familiar from the Standard Model, collectively form a superalgebra. Those representations mirroring the behaviour of the Standard Model's gauge bosons, and three generations of fermions, are each included in this algebra, with exception only to those representations involving the top quark.

Ricci solitons on QR-hypersurfaces of a quaternionic space form ℚn

open access: yesActa Universitatis Sapientiae, Mathematica, 2016
Abstract The purpose of this paper is to study Ricci solitons on QR-hypersurfaces M of a quaternionic space form ℚn such that the shape operator A with respect to N has one eigenvalue. We prove that Ricci soliton on QR-hypersurfaces M with eigenvalue zero is steady and for eigenvalue nonzero is shrinking.

Cohomotopy sets of (n−1)$(n-1)$‐connected (2n+2)$(2n+2)$‐manifolds for small n$n$

open access: yesTransactions of the London Mathematical Society, Volume 12, Issue 1, December 2025.
Abstract Let M$M$ be a closed orientable (n−1)$(n-1)$‐connected (2n+2)$(2n+2)$‐manifold, n⩾2$n\geqslant 2$. In this paper, we combine the Postnikov tower of spheres and the homotopy decomposition of the reduced suspension space ΣM$\Sigma M$ to investigate the (integral) cohomotopy sets π*(M)$\pi ^\ast (M)$ for n=2,3,4$n=2,3,4$, under the assumption ...
