Lazy Queue Layouts of Posets [PDF]

open access: yesAlgorithmica, 2020
We investigate the queue number of posets in terms of their width, that is, the maximum number of pairwise incomparable elements. A long-standing conjecture of Heath and Pemmaraju asserts that every poset of width w has queue number at most w .

Web-based Queue Machine Development using Raspberry and ESP8266

open access: yesIJID (International Journal on Informatics for Development), 2018
At a recent time, a computer-based queue machine, which is using the computer as both a client and a server, is rated to be less practical and inefficient.

Mixed Linear Layouts of Planar Graphs

open access: yes, 2017
A $k$-stack (respectively, $k$-queue) layout of a graph consists of a total order of the vertices, and a partition of the edges into $k$ sets of non-crossing (non-nested) edges with respect to the vertex ordering. In 1992, Heath and Rosenberg conjectured

M/M/1 Non-preemptive Priority Queuing System with Multiple Vacations and Vacation Interruptions

open access: yesJTAM (Jurnal Teori dan Aplikasi Matematika), 2023
Non-preemptive priority queue system is a type of priority queue where customers with higher priorities cannot interrupt low priority one while being served. High priority consumers will still be at the head of the queue.

Queue Layouts of Planar 3-Trees [PDF]

open access: yesAlgorithmica, 2018
A queue layout of a graph G consists of a linear order of the vertices of G and a partition of the edges of G into queues, so that no two independent edges of the same queue are nested.

A-MPDU aggregation with optimal number of MPDUs for delay requirements in IEEE 802.11ac.

open access: yesPLoS ONE, 2019
In this paper, we propose a method that estimates an average delay of frames for each queue and finds an optimal number of aggregated Medium Access Control (MAC) Protocol Data Units (MPDUs) to maximize the system throughput with satisfying the delay ...

Stack and Queue Layouts via Layered Separators

open access: yes, 2016
It is known that every proper minor-closed class of graphs has bounded stack-number (a.k.a. book thickness and page number). While this includes notable graph families such as planar graphs and graphs of bounded genus, many other graph families are not ...

Faster and Durable: A Cell‐to‐System Validation of a Low‐Degradation Fast‐Charge Protocol for Li‐Ion Batteries

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A physics‐based framework resolving graphite phase‐separation dynamics establishes a predictive, degradation‐aware fast‐charging methodology for commercial Li‐ion batteries. The resulting model‐informed protocol achieves 20%–80% state‐of‐charge in 14 min while matching the long‐term degradation of a commercial 25‐minute EV strategy.
