Bayesian control of the number of servers in a GI/M/c queuing system [PDF]
In this paper we consider the problem of designing a GI/M/c queueing system. Given arrival and service data, our objective is to choose the optimal number of servers so as to minimize an expected cost function which depends on quantities, such as the ...

Autonomous AI‐Driven Design for Skin Product Formulations
This review presents a comprehensive closed‐loop framework for autonomous skin product formulation design. By integrating artificial intelligence‐driven experiment selection with automated multi‐tiered assays, the approach shifts development from trial‐and‐error to intelligent optimisation.

Abstract This research aims to study the intelligent wireless sensor to improve the water permeability of permeable asphalt concrete pavement. The water permeability of pavement is extremely important for the traffic environment. This study first briefly introduces the background and significance analysis, and then exemplifies the deployment algorithm ...

The M^θ /G/1/m queues with the time of service, depending on the length of the queue (in Ukrainian) [PDF]
We study the M^θ /G/1/m queue with the time of service, depending on the length of the queue at the service initiation. By using Korolyuk's potential method, we derive the average duration of the busy time and the stationary distribution of the number ...

Autonomous X‐Ray Fluorescence Mapping for Nanoscale Chemical Speciation of Fine Particulate Matter
We present X‐AutoMap, an autonomous X‐ray fluorescence mapping framework that integrates real‐time analysis with rule‐based computer vision to selectively target chemically relevant regions. By avoiding background‐dominated areas, the method reduces acquisition time by fourfold while enabling accurate particle‐level speciation.

Distributed wireless network resource optimisation method based on mobile edge computing
This paper mainly compares the network ranking leader, consumption amount and network signal reception of the three algorithms. The study found that in terms of network sort captain, there are significant differences between the CPLEX algorithm, the CCST algorithm, and edge computing methods. The CCST algorithm and edge computing have little difference

A-ECN Minimizing Queue Length for Datacenter Networks
Recently, Explicit Congestion Notification (ECN) has been leveraged by DCTCP and its successive protocols to reduce the latency in datacenters. However, we find that DCTCP may induce the queue underflow and high latency in multi-queue scenarios and even ...

Abstract This review analyzed 241 scholarly articles published between 2010 and 2025 in information science venues to examine how affect shapes refugees' information behavior during forced migration and to identify additional contextual factors. It identifies seven affective dimensions: anxiety, shame and stigma, grief and loss, frustration, (mis)trust,
