Quiver varieties and Demazure modules
Using subvarieties, which we call Demazure quiver varieties, of the quiver varieties of Nakajima, we give a geometric realization of Demazure modules of Kac-Moody algebras with symmetric Cartan data.

New quantum toroidal algebras from 5D N $$ \mathcal{N} $$ = 1 instantons on orbifolds
Quantum toroidal algebras are obtained from quantum affine algebras by a further affinization, and, like the latter, can be used to construct integrable systems.

1/N expansion of circular Wilson loop in N $$ \mathcal{N} $$ = 2 superconformal SU(N) × SU(N) quiver
Localization approach to N $$ \mathcal{N} $$ = 2 superconformal SU(N) × SU(N) quiver theory leads to a non-Gaussian two-matrix model representation for the expectation value of BPS circular SU(N) Wilson loop W $$ \left\langle \mathcal{W}\right\rangle $$ .

Linear versus set valued Kronecker representations
A set valued representation of the Kronecker quiver is nothing but a quiver. We apply the forgetful functor from vector spaces to sets and compare linear with set valued representations of the Kronecker quiver.Comment: 7 ...

Topological strings, strips and quivers
We find a direct relation between quiver representation theory and open topological string theory on a class of toric Calabi-Yau manifolds without compact four-cycles, also referred to as strip geometries.

A sequence of massive scaling limits of the β-deformed An−1 quiver matrix model that keeps the size of the matrices finite and that corresponds to the Nf=2n→2n−1,2n−2 limits on the number of flavors at 4d su(n) N=2 SUSY gauge theory side is carried out ...

Enteropathogenic E. coli (EPEC) infects the human intestinal epithelium, resulting in severe illness and diarrhoea. In this study, we compared the infection of cancer‐derived cell lines with human organoid‐derived models of the small intestine. We observed a delayed in attachment, inflammation and cell death on primary cells, indicating that host ...

Quiver Gauge Theories: Finitude and Trichotomoty
D-brane probes, Hanany-Witten setups and geometrical engineering stand as a trichotomy of standard techniques of constructing gauge theories from string theory.

This study reveals how the mitochondrial protein Slm35 is regulated in Saccharomyces cerevisiae. The authors identify stress‐responsive DNA elements and two upstream open reading frames (uORFs) in the 5′ untranslated region of SLM35. One uORF restricts translation, and its mutation increases Slm35 protein levels and mitophagy.
