Application of Fluazifop-P, Haloxyfop, and Quizalofop by Sprinkler Irrigation

Weed Science, 1989
In field studies, sprinkler irrigation application of the butyl ester of fluazifop-P, the methyl ester of haloxyfop, and the ethyl ester of quizalofop controlled large crabgrass as well as conventional spray applications. In greenhouse investigations, root uptake of the herbicides from sprinkler irrigation applications injured large crabgrass more than

Metabolism of [14C]quizalofop-ethyl in soybean and cotton plants

Journal of Agricultural and Food Chemistry, 1990
The metabolism of (phenyl-U-{sup 14}C)quizalofop-ethyl or (quinoxaline-{sup 14}C)quizalofop-ethyl was investigated in soybean and cotton plants. ({sup 14}C)Quizalofop-ethyl was applied to soybean or cotton plants at 4 oz of AI/acre as a postemergence spray, and plant samples were harvested initially (day 0) and at 3, 6, and 13.5 (maturity) weeks after ...

Interactions of DPX-PE350 with Fluazifop-P, Sethoxydim, Clethodim, and Quizalofop-P

Weed Technology, 1993
Interactions of fluazifop-P, sethoxydim, clethodim, and quizalofop-P with DPX-PE350 were evaluated. DPX-PE350 at 110 g ae ha−1reduced control of large crabgrass when mixed with all graminicides and control of broadleaf signalgrass when mixed with fluazifop-P or quizalofop-P. Increasing the rate of graminicide reduced or eliminated antagonism.

Separation and Detection of Quizalofop-Ethyl Herbicide by Thin-Layer Chromatography

Journal of Forensic Chemistry and Toxicology, 2019
Herbicides are frequently used in agriculture for control of weeds in crops. Quizalofop-ethyl is a postemergence herbicide widely used for control of grassy weeds in crops, intended for human consumption. The general population may be exposed to quizalofop-ethyl via ingestion of food or drinking water. Sometimes it is misused for suicidal poisoning.

Annual Grass Control in Flax (Linum usitatissimum) with Quizalofop

Weed Technology, 1988
In field experiments over a 3-yr period, quizalofop {(±)-2-[4-[(6-chloro-2-quinoxalinyl)oxy)phenoxy] propanoic acid} at 100 to 150 g ae/ha effectively controlled several annual grass weeds and volunteer barley (Hordeum vulgareL. # HORVX) in flax (Linum usitatissimumL. ‘Linott’).
