Chemistry – A European Journal, EarlyView.Glycosyl hemiindigos: we have synthesized hemiindigo‐functionalized glycoside and glycomacrocycle which are photoswitchable under visible light irradiation with high photoconversion yield and fluorescence emission property in acetonitrile. The conformational constrained glycomacrocycle displayed more efficient photoisomerization.
