We consider two types of entropy, namely, Shannon and Rényi entropies of the Poisson distribution, and establish their properties as the functions of intensity parameter. More precisely, we prove that both entropies increase with intensity.

This paper introduces “swiveled Rényi entropies” as an alternative to the Rényi entropic quantities put forward in Berta et al. (Phys Rev A 91(2):022333, 2015). What distinguishes the swiveled Rényi entropies from the prior proposal of Berta et al.

We investigate the entanglement and Rényi entropies for the (1+1)-dimensional O(3) nonlinear sigma model using the tensor renormalization group method. The central charge is determined from the asymptotic scaling properties of both entropies.

Discrete gravity on random tensor network and holographic Rényi entropy
In this paper we apply the discrete gravity and Regge calculus to tensor networks and Anti-de Sitter/conformal field theory (AdS/CFT) correspondence. We construct the boundary many-body quantum state |Ψ〉 using random tensor networks as the holographic ...

Joint Range of Rényi entropies [PDF]
summary:The exact range of the joined values of several Rényi entropies is determined. The method is based on topology with special emphasis on the orientation of the objects studied.

Information criteria for selecting parton distribution function solutions
In data-driven determination of Parton Distribution Functions (PDFs) in global QCD analyses, uncovering the true underlying distributions is complicated by a highly convoluted inverse problem.

Rényi entanglement of purification and half Rényi reflected entropy in free scalar theory
In the AdS/CFT context, the entanglement of purification (EoP, denoted as E P ) of CFT is conjectured to be dual to the entanglement wedge cross section (EWCS) in bulk. However, another quantity called reflected entropy S R is also supposed to be dual to
