Novel Application of Cell Penetrating R11 Peptide for Diagnosis of Bladder Cancer
Journal of Biomedical Nanotechnology, 2018As a novel cell-permeable peptide, polyarginine (R11) showed great potential as contrast agent to target bladder cancer (BCa) for therapeutic applications. However, its diagnostic ability and uptake efficiency between BCa and normal bladder tissues is unknown.

Photographic study of bubble dynamics for pool boiling of refrigerant R11
Heat and Mass Transfer, 2006A digital photographic study of pool boiling with R11 was performed on a horizontal transparent heater at pressure at 0.1 MPa. A high-speed digital camera was applied to record the bubble behaviors of boiling process. The departure diameter, departure time, and nucleation site density at different heat flux were obtained.

AbstractDermal absorption and excretion of MGK R11 [2,3:4,5-bis(2-butylene) tetrahydro-2 furaldehyde, McLaughlin Gormley King Company, Minneapolis, MN] was studied using [14C]MGK R11 either by itself or formulated with DEET (N,N-diethyl-m-toluamide), MGK 264 (N-octylbicycloheptene dicarboximide), and MGK 326 (di-n-propyl-isocinchomeronate).

Feasibility of trichlorofluoromethane (CCl3F, R11) heptadecahydrate as a heat storage material
Energy Conversion and Management, 1985Abstract Trichlorofluoromethane (CCl3F, R11) heptadecahydrate, which melts at 8.5°C with a heat of fusion of 274 kJ/kg (65.4 cal/g), was investigated as a latent heat storage material. Addition of nonionic surfactant, 2 wt% to water in R11 hydrate, increased the formation rate of the hydrate about 4 times which is sufficient for practical use.

Derived thermodynamic design data for heat pump systems operating on R11
Journal of Heat Recovery Systems, 1981Abstract Calculated values of the theoretical Rankine coefficient of performance (COP) R and the compression ratio P CO / P EV are given for R11 for temperature lifts in 5°C increments and condensing temperatures T CO for every degree in the range 15–175°C.

Derived thermodynamic design data for rankine power cycle systems operating on R11
Journal of Heat Recovery Systems, 1983Abstract The theoretical Rankine power cycle efficiencies η R and the pressure ratios (PR) have been presented for Rankine power cycles operating on R11. These values are listed in tabular form for temperature drops of 10–75°C and for boiler temperatures 45– 180°C in 5°C increments. A composite graph showing the relationship between η
