Aim: To evaluate the efficacy of Revo-S and Reciproc R40 NiTi files in preparation of oval root canals using Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT). Methodology: Forty extracted single rooted premolars were divided into 2 groups (n=20). Group 1 (R-S) were prepared with Revo-S up to size #40/.06.

Comparative biology of five RNA phages, R23, f2, Qβ, R34, and R40
Canadian Journal of Microbiology, 1970The RNA bacteriophage R23 inhibits the synthesis of bacterial RNA and protein to a greater extent than phages f2, Qβ, R34, or R40. Various aspects of the process of infection of Escherichia coli by these phages have been examined to assess their possible role in determining the extent of viral RNA synthesis and inhibition of the host. There was little

Catalyst Technology for Reducing Motorcycle Emissions under ECE-R40, ECE-R47 and Indian Drive Cycles
SAE Technical Paper Series, 2001<div class="htmlview paragraph">The application of catalytic converters is the most cost-efficient way to meet stricter motorcycle emission standards. This paper attempts to evaluate the catalyst performance for motorcycles in Taiwan, Europe, and India over the ECE-R40, ECE-R47 and Indian Drive Cycle.

R40: first luminous blue variable in the small magellanic cloud
2008During the past decade R 40 in the SMC has brightened in the visual range by about 0.5 magnitudes. Correlated with the brightening the spectral type has changed from B8Ia to A3Ia-O. This behaviour shows R 40 to be an LBV, the first one discovered in the SMC. During the past eight years we obtained extensive Stromgren photometry.

Background: Porphyromonas gingivalis has been implicated as an important pathogen in the development of adult periodontitis, and its colonization of subgingival sites is critical in the pathogenic process. We recently reported the construction and characterization of human immunoglobulin G isotype clones, which were specifically reactive with ...

[Mechanisms of action for metallic elements and their species classified as R40 by EU].
Giornale italiano di medicina del lavoro ed ergonomia, 2009In this part of our survey we dealt with other metallic elements and species (antimony, lead and vanadium) classified by EU as R40 and not with the risk phrases R45 and R49. They are also differently considered by different Agency and Scientific Societies in respect to their carcinogenicity.

Rhizomania causes significant losses in sugar beet (Beta vulgaris L.) growing areas worldwide. Since 2003, isolates of Beet necrotic yellow vein virus (BNYVV), the causal agent of rhizomania, have been identified in the United States, Europe, and Asia that cause disease symptoms in germplasm with the Rz1 source of resistance.
