Bio‐Inspired Gradient Coatings Enhance the Leading Edge Erosion Resistance of Wind Blades
Advanced Science, EarlyView.Rain‐induced erosion of the wind turbine blade leading edge poses a critical challenge to maintenance and operation. Here, we propose a bio‐inspired approach for erosion protection utilising a platelet‐reinforced polyurethane coating with a graded through‐thickness architecture.

Quantum‐Like Dynamics in Whole‐Brain Models of the Human Connectome
Advanced Science, EarlyView.Quantum‐like dynamics in the human brain. The level of quantum‐like behavior in a non‐quantum system of coupled oscillators is regulated by the spectral gap of the coupling graph. Whole‐brain modelling using QL fits the empirical data significantly better and has a lower model‐derived energy cost than the non‐QL model.

Advanced Science, EarlyView.A conductive ZrB2 ceramic composite strategy was developed for Mg3(Sb, Bi)2 thermoelectrics to regulate carrier transport and phonon scattering through heterointerface engineering. The 1.0 wt.% ZrB2 composite achieved enhanced room‐temperature performance, with a power factor of 28.51 µW cm−1 K−2 and a peak ZT of 1.22 at 573 K.
