Wideband radar cross‐section reduction by AMC

open access: yesElectronics Letters, 2016
A new planar wideband chessboard structure is designed to reduce the radar cross‐section (RCS) of an object. This proposed chessboard configuration is composed of two different artificial magnetic conductor (AMC) tiles. One of these tiles is formed by saltire arrow unit cells, whereas the other one is formed by four E‐shaped ones.
