Photo‐Gated Corona Microfluidics
Photo‐gated corona microfluidics decouples optical programming from electric‐field actuation to enable reconfigurable manipulation on open, electrode‐pattern‐free surfaces. Near‐infrared irradiation locally melts paraffin, creating a reversible charge‐relaxation pathway that reconstructs the electric field.

Impact of quantization on passive radar target detection
In this paper we investigate the dynamic range requirements of a passive radar system and show the impact of analog-to-digital converter (ADC) quantization on system performance. This analysis is carried out with a view towards understanding how many ADC

Bending‐Stable Pressure Sensor Based on Natural Wood Nanofibers for Ultra‐Low Detection Limit
A wood nanofiber‐based flexible pressure sensor with intrinsic bending‐stable performance is developed through a porous electrospun architecture and interdigital electrode design. The device exhibits an ultra‐low detection limit and stable operation under deformation for physiological monitoring and spatial sensing, providing a sustainable strategy for

Nanoparticle‐Mediated Bubble Suppression During Droplet Solidification for Mechanical Reinforcement
Nanoparticles mediate droplet solidification by raising nucleation temperature, refining dendrites, and slowing freezing‐front advance, thereby suppressing trapped air bubbles in droplet‐based 3D printing. This strategy reduces bubble volume fraction by ∼35% and increases compressive strength by up to 39%, offering a low‐cost route to stronger printed ...

EndoTac presents a trocar‐compatible endoscopic vision‐based tactile sensor that uses a convex mirror to enlarge side‐facing tactile coverage during minimally invasive vessel palpation. Distorted tactile images are unwarped and processed by a learning model to estimate vascular deformation, enabling sensitive, spatially distributed tactile perception ...

The SARTOM Project; Tomography for enhanced target detection for foliage penetrating airborne SAR [PDF]
The SARTOM project addresses a key area of defence interest, namely the detection and identification of targets hidden in foliage. The project has provided a rich source of data obtained from a series of flight trials that were conducted in September ...

Embryonic amoxicillin exposure disrupts multi‐organ development in zebrafish larvae through a lncRNA–metabolic enzyme regulatory axis. PCALRx associates with pyruvate carboxylase, promotes PC protein ubiquitination, and impairs mitochondrial energy metabolism, while vitamin B1 partially restores PC‐centered metabolic function and developmental outcomes.
