Neglected bilateral radial head fracture with a rare presentation: A case report

open access: yesChinese Journal of Traumatology, 2017
Isolated radial head fractures are rare and comprise about 2% of all fractures around the elbow. Bilateral radial head fractures are even rarer and few cases have been reported. We present a case of bilateral elbow effusion in a 28-year-old male patient.

Data‐Driven Materials Science for Energy‐Sustainable Applications

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Data‐driven approaches powered by artificial intelligence are transforming materials discovery for energy sustainability. This review examines how auto‐generated high‐quality materials databases and domain‐specific language models accelerate research in photovoltaics, thermoelectrics, batteries and magnetic materials. Applications involve extraction of

Evaluation of the functional outcomes of radial head replacement

open access: yesThe Egyptian Orthopaedic Journal
Introduction: Radial head fractures are among the commonest elbow fractures. These fractures often result from falling onto an outstretched hand, that transmits axial force through the radius to the radial head.

Nonplanar Bouligand Architectures for Enhanced Mechanical Performance in Cementitious Composites

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Inspired by the impact region of the Mantis shrimp dactyl club, nonplanar additive manufacturing translates sinusoidal Bouligand architectures into cementitious composites. Printing‐induced anisotropy and architected interfaces promote distributed damage and arrest crack propagation, enhancing strength and energy absorption.

Posterolateral Elbow Dislocation with Ipsilateral Fractures of Head and Distal End Radius [PDF]

open access: yes, 2011
Elbow dislocation associated with ipsilateral fracture head and distal end radius is a rare pattern of Injury, although it is common for elbow dislocation and radius fractures to occur separately.

A FLOATING PROSTHESIS FOR RADIAL-HEAD FRACTURES

open access: yes, 1996
We report our experience over seven years with a floating radial-head prosthesis for acute fractures of the radial head and the complications which may result from such injury.

Thermoplastic Dielectric Coatings for Flexible Electrodynamic Dust Shields: Structural and Functional Performance

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Interfaces, EarlyView.
Thermoplastic attachment is introduced as a scalable surface coating strategy to improve the durability and dielectric reliability of flexible electrodynamic dust shields. By embedding chemically modified reduced graphene oxide (CMrGO) electrodes within thermoplastic laminates, mechanical degradation, abrasion damage, and vacuum‐induced electrical ...

Bilateral radial neck fractures – A Case Report [PDF]

open access: yes, 2007
Radial head and neck fractures are the most frequently seen elbow fractures. The usual cause of this injury is a fall onto an outstretched hand with a partly flexed elbow. We report here an unusual case of bilateral non-displaced radial neck fractures in

Evolution of OLED Lamination Technology With Development of Display Form Factors

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
This review evaluates the evolution of organic light‐emitting diode (OLED) lamination technologies alongside advancing display form factors. It contrasts optically clear adhesives and resins, highlighting uniformity control for rigid screens, bubble‐free optimization for bended architectures, and visible‐light curing for foldable layers.
