Transverse expansion of hot magnetized Bjorken flow in heavy ion collisions [PDF]

open access: yesEuropean Physical Journal C: Particles and Fields, 2019
We argue that the existence of an inhomogeneous external magnetic field can lead to radial flow in transverse plane. Our aim is to show how the introduction of a magnetic field generalizes the Bjorken flow.

Magnetic field analytical calculation method for radial unite of a combined magnetic bearing

open access: yesIET Electric Power Applications, 2023
Combined magnetic bearing with radial and axial unites is an important supporting element for high speed and high energy density motor. Accurate calculation of the magnetic field is a key to design and optimise a Combined Radial and Axial Magnetic ...

Enhancing Wire-Rope Damage Signals Based on a Radial Magnetic Concentrator Bridge Circuit

open access: yesSensors, 2022
Hall-effect sensors are used for the non-destructive testing of wire ropes owing to their low power consumption and high operation frequency. The high-speed operation of wire ropes causes vibration inclination at different frequencies, which makes it ...

Effects of Magnetic Field in Creep Behavior of Three-Phase Laminated Composite Cylindrical Shells [PDF]

open access: yesMechanics of Advanced Composite Structures, 2019
Due to the importance effect of magnetic field on the history of long-term radial and circumfer-ential creep strain and radial displacement for a three-phase nano-composite exposed to an internal pressure and placed uniform temperature, the present ...

Research on Electromagnetic Force Distribution and Deformation Uniformity of Tube Electromagnetic Bulging Based on Concave Magnetic Field Shaper

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2021
Tube uneven radial deformation along the axial direction is one of the main technical problems of tube electromagnetic bulging, which restricts the wide advancement of this technology. In order to improve the uniformity of tube radial deformation, a tube

Radial distribution of charged particles in a magnetic field [PDF]

open access: yesReview of Scientific Instruments, 2015
The radial spread of charged particles emitted from a point source in a magnetic field is a potential source of systematic error for any experiment where magnetic fields guide charged particles to detectors with finite size. Assuming uniform probability as a function of the phase along the particle’s helical trajectory, an analytic solution for the ...

Cylindrical spacetimes due to radial magnetic fields [PDF]

open access: yesPhysical Review D, 2021
We continue our previous study of cylindrically symmetric, static electrovacuum spacetimes generated by a magnetic field, involving optionally the cosmological constant, and investigate several classes of exact solutions. These spacetimes are due to magnetic fields that are perpendicular to the axis of symmetry.

Research on Magnetic-Induced Error of Small-Sized Fiber Optic Gyro Fiber Coil in Space Environment

open access: yesPhotonics, 2023
Spacecraft is severely limited in weight and volume, resulting in a small bending radius of the fiber coil used by IFOG (Interference Fiber Optic Gyroscope).
